This is such a beautifully textured product. It is a lightweight milk texture that foams up slightly to cleanse skin. It leaves skin feeling very soft and well hydrated even before applying moisturizer.

The blue glass bottle make this feel more like an expensive luxury skincare product. I love the all natural ingredients so I feel comfortable using it.

As a brand, I like Weleda because many of the products are packaged in metal or glass, and I do not buy products packaged in plastic for environmental reasons. Also, since they are a European company, it's my perception the products are less likely to be unhealthy and full of potentially unsafe chemicals, due to stringent European product safety standards.

I had been using Dr …

I love this cleanser. I'm in my mid 30s, have light PMS breakouts, rosacea when I have caffeine, wine, or chilies, and combination skin. I am also interested in nourishing my skin through the colder, drier months so that I age well :-D. This cleanser has a therapeutic herbal aroma. It cleanses my skin without drying or clogging pores. It is milky and non-foaming but rinses easily. I like …Read more

I am on my second bottle of this facewash, and I am obsessed. I have combo skin with mixed parts: oily in t zone, dry on cheeks.
You can read more about the benefits of cleansing your skin with an oil based cleanser elsewhere, but let me say it is the best change I have made for my skin. I use this cleanser mostly at night, but in the winter it it my day and night cleanser (because my skin …

I like this but admit its not a do-it-all cleanser and as a result I only use this in the morning to wash my face but not at night to remove makeup/grime, etc. It has a creamy milky consistency and does leave a bit of film on the skin, but I don't mind because it adds to its moisturizing effect, which makes this perfect for the fall/winter months when my skin is drier than normal …Read more

Since having a baby my skin has become dry, after years of struggling with oily, acne-prone and combination skin. I bought this cleanser at my local natural foods store on a whim, mostly because I have had good experiences with other Weleda products. After using this cleanser at night for a few months, I am not in love with it. The bottle is lovely to look at but as other reviewers have …Read more

I am on my 3rd bottle of this cleanser and I really like it. It leaves my skin feeeling clean, refreshed and happy (as in not dry, tight, bumpy, grainy or red). I seem to be breaking out less with this too because I think it cleanses without drying your skin. I have dryish, sensitive skin and now that I am almost mid-thirties my skin just doesnt seem to handle foaming cleansers anymore (even …Read more

I really liked this one, it doesn't dry out my skin though it does make it a little bit oily. I have sensitive skin & atopic excema and i didn't have any allergic reactions on this product, and i've also dropped it on the floor several times and it didn't smash ;) But it doesn't completely remove all of my makeup so the days I wear face makeup I remove it before …Read more

I tried this one and the One Step Cleanser/Toner so excuse the comparisons that come later.

The first step to determining your best cleanser is to know exactly what you want from it. You need to know which texture you like and how you want your skin to feel when cleansed. Some like the onomatopoeic squeaky feel and would tend towards foaming cleansers or soap bars. I love the …

I'm on my fourth bottle of Weleda's Gentle Cleansing Milk and have no plans to stop now- I love this stuff.

I have sensitive, oily skin, and some time back, I decided that I was going to start treating it differently. Instead of washing with a cleanser designed for oily skin, I started using this cleansing milk and following it up with the Weleda toner. For whatever reason …
