Smudges far too much, doesn't seem to have enough product for the price. Wasn't a huge fan, the pigment wasn't high enough for me no matter what color.

This is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE eye liner! I bought this as part of a set from the shopping channel, so I didn't pay full price, but I gladly would. I have recommended this to so many of my friends because I love it so much.

Let's talk performance:

I have asian eyelids. I have the double eyelid, but it's small, so regular liners smudge almost instantly. I also have oily lids, so I need something waterproof and smudge proof. I was using Revlon ColorStay liner before and it was "ok", but I would always end up with smudges on my lower lash line at the end of the day. I like to tightline my upper lids, so I must have something that can stay put. This liner TRULY is smudge proof, unless you smudge it yourself with the included smudger, it really will last all day. The ultimate test: I was doing my sister-in-law's makeup for her wedding and I used this liner on the entire bridal party. We all cried and it was humid, but everyone's makeup stayed put and perfect the entire day. If that isn't a testimony to performance, I don't know what is.

I often wear this pencil at work; I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts and I don't have much opportunity to touch up my makeup or check that it's not smudging everywhere. It never smudges on me, and stays right where I put it.

I love the colour of this liner; it's dark enough to be worn for formal occasions, but has just enough colour to make it appropriate for day time use as well.

I love that it's an automatic twist up product so I don't have to worry about bringing a sharpener. The sponge-tip smudger is a nice addition, though I have to admit I don't use it that often. The one thing I don't like about the packaging is the lids at either end of the pencil; when I'm in a rush, I often forget which lid goes on which end, so on a couple of occasions I've put the wrong lid onto the ends of the pencil, squashing some product (and wasting it). My own fault of course, but I wish there was a way to prevent that from happening.

Even though it's a little pricey (in my opinion) at $20, it's such a good product that I don't mind to pay it. If you are looking for a good quality eyeliner, try this one!

The Ulta salesperson recommended this eyeliner when I asked for a long-lasting one. By the afternoon, I end up looking like I have two black eyes. It runs too much.

Revlon Colorstay is much better.

I liked the color and the wear was ok, not exceptional. The tip broke off several times and I went through it in a couple months. My Jordana eyeliner may not wear quite as well, but for $2, it lasts months and never breaks...I got this as a bonus with purchase but would never pay $17 for it.

I'm an idiot when it comes to lining my eyes; I would get an "F" if I were tested on it.... This pencil makes me look like a pro! I find it to be the perfect consistency; not too hard, not too soft. I like this one better than Urban Decay, Nars, Tarina Tarantino.... This one is a manual twist up pencil, which I really prefer because it gives a much thinner line. I find that it glides on smoothly, I don't have to tug, and it's hard to make mistakes. Sometimes I use the smudger end, sometimes I don't. As for the Black Amethyst color, it's really beautiful! Exactly what it says - black with amethyst purple. A pretty deep color (but not harsh looking at all), that is definitely on the cool side. Makes my hazel eyes look really green. I get a lof of compliments when I wear this. Next, I'm going to purchase the "Chocolate Mica" color; a matte deep brown. I also like Stila's mechanical pencil in "Lionfish."
