I put off buying Plumage for years and years because, to be perfectly frank, it looks pretty ugly in the pan - a boring, dull matte in an unflattering shade of dark blue-green. But MAC had a 25% off deal which made the already affordable pro-pans even more of a bargain so I picked it up because I thought it might not be quite the ugly-duckling shade it appears. I'd been looking for some …Read more

When something is worth it, it's worth it. This eyeshadow colour is subtle, nothing bright or crazy and it can even pass for black if applied like eyeliner close to the lower lashes. I sometimes like to mix it with black or grey to give it more depth and create a faux black colour. Unlike some other matte formulas by mac, this one is exceptionally pigmented and what you see in the pan is …Read more

I saw this shade in a tutorial and after falling in love with the color, I ran out and bought it. You read it correctly, fell in love with the color only, and only the color. It's a dark teal blue matte shade. The color is lovely with my brown eyes. I pair it with a warm brown shade in the crease for a simple smokey eye. The color is gorgeous but the texture is something else to be …Read more

It is a matte dusty dark green. Easy to apply, good blendabily.

worst shadow ever, chalky, sheer, unblendable. It's a shame to sell this for 13,50 euros/refill In general Mac is becoming less and less attractive to me as we have now great alternatives (better quality for a bettter price) as MUG or Kiko.

Plumage is sheer, chalky, has no colour whatsoever and shows up a dirty grey on the skin.
I will throw this in the bin and use Urban decay Loaded instead.

Why create a beautiful shade with lackluster pigmentation and blendability? Granted that with minimal pigmentation, it takes a lengthier time to build it up and looks "blended" in this manner, but unless I have a lot of time to spend prepping for eyeshadow, I usually overlook this colour.

I do love the matte, darkened teal. It's very flattering with a variety of …

I'm very picky about buying MAC shadows because Makeup Geek and a few others have very close dupes However, this one is one of the exceptions. This cameleon color has Teal/blue/grey tones is a matte and beautiful to punch up that smokey eye. A little goes a long way especially if you are on the fair side. I've used this in my corner V, crease, lower lash line and on lid especially …Read more

Plumage is a navy blue with a slight greenish/teal undertone to it. It is matte but applies well for a smokey eye. So far I wear plumage smudged above my upper lashes to almost half way up on my eye lid. Then I apply mac texture in the crease and then top texture with mac tempting eye shadow, orb goes on the center of the lid to brighten the look a bit. I use stilla kitten then brule as a …Read more
