I really wanted to love this polish. I do love the color, with 4 coats you get the true opaqueness you see in the bottle. However, all that work is to no avail, even with a base coat (essie's matte about you) the polish begins chipping/cracking the same day. By the next day large sections of my nail polish has chipped off. Sigh...

It looks like Pink Opal in a matte lacquer. Gorgeous iridescent color. Dries incredibly fast too.
Unfortunately the idea is better than the execution. This is streak nightmare!!! I have no idea how to save this. I've tried a second layer of base coat, more layers of the actual nail lacquer and even a top coat. Impossible, not worth its money. Too bad, will probably end up in a very far …

Frayed to Order is a limited edition polish in the Jeanius collection, released at the beginning of March, 2011. MAC describes it as “white matte with soft pink duochrome pearl”. I did not like matte polishes 2 years ago, they looked flat and dead. But this one has an amazing character, not at all flat, but luminescent and iridescent, like the inside of a shell.
