I read another review that this product does have a very "sunscreeny" smell to it. I agree but it does dissipate soon after you apply it. It moisturizes nicely..I can see myself wearing this as a sunscreen on days when I will be outdoors alot not wearing makeup. I think it may be overkill for days when I am not outdoors at all.. I wear at least a 15 everyday regardless. Makes my …Read more

I am a huge fan of Skinceuticals Physical Fusion SPF 50 but I have to wear moisturizer underneath because my skin is very dry. Also, since I'm back to using Retin-A the Skinceuticals stings a bit when I put it on.

So I decided to try Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50-Sensitive Skin (my derm recommended it) which is purely physical. No stinging when I apply it …

I love this stuff. Even though I have oily/combination skin, I've finally reached an age when need a daily moisturizer, and with my pale complexion I need sunscreen as well. I hate the smell of chemical sunscreens, and this doesn't have that odor, which makes it pleasant to use every day. As long as I use a small amount, it doesn't make me look ghostly, and it layers well under …Read more

I replaced my MAC Prep & Prime SPF 50 with this due to cost. I still like the MAC more, it's lighter feeling and keeps my T-Zone matte all day.

The Neutrogena is working well enough for me to keep using it. It takes a few minutes to sink in before I can apply makeup, but holds up well during the day.

I use Vanicream SPF 60 on days I'm outside with no makeup. …

Fabulous moisturizer/sunscreen. No white cast or irritation. My makeup goes on smoothly over this. Reasonably priced. I spent a full day at a waterpark with this on and barely got any tan. No burning at all. Sorry, below reviewer; please do more research on new sunscreen formulations/technology and UV protector booster ingredients before accusing a company of fraud. Love this product!

Would I buy this again? Not only no, but HECK NO! I got this for protection from skin aging UVA rays and because its a physical sunscreen, I found out about PPD ratings and started to get suspicious of this sunscreen when I found out that Shiseido which has 16% concentration of zinc oxide only had a PPD rating of 10 while this only has 3%. After a few hours of research I finally found the means …Read more

The ingredients above are incorrect. There is no ethyhexyl methoxycinnamate (chemical sunscreen) in this product per the box I had for this. Drugstore.com has incorrect ingredients, not sure if that's where these were copied from. Sorry, I threw the box away so I'm unable to type in the correct ingredients. If this doesn't clog your pores, I think it's the best drugstore …Read more

I was a little apprehensive about using this since my experience with Neutrogena Healthy Defense chemical sunscreens has been bad, but I needed a cosmetically elegant physical sunscreen and the one I used to use (Devita solar protective moisturizer spf 30) isn't available to me locally any longer. I should not have worried. I've been using this for 4 days, and it hasn't given me …Read more

I had been using the SPF 50 for non-sensitive skin for about 2 years and bought this formula for sensitive skin when I ran out. I was expecting it to leave a white cast on my skin, but it didn't! I was expecting to be oily by lunch time, but I wasn't!

This doesn't seem to moisturize as much as the original formula which may be a problem this winter, but as long as it is …

I love this moisturizer! If I could only buy one beauty product for the rest of my life, it would be this lotion. I have been using it for about two years, and I have used other Neutrogena SPF 20+ lotions before. I love the SPF 50, since I'm paranoid about sun damage, and I think that the lotion itself is very silky, and not too greasy. It soaks in fairly easily, and is very moisturizing …Read more
