This is a wonderful, juicy sheer tint of red on my medium pigmented lips. The taste is similar to cherry candy and disappears fairly quickly. The moisturizing properties of the lip balm are also quite nice, as they keep my lips nicely hydrated, soft and smooth all day. I know that some people are complaining that the $6.99 price tag is too high, and I think in comparison to other lip balms at the …Read more

This is way to drying. I was looking for a tinted balm that is moister than chap stick (which this is not) with a tint. I bought rose which is all they had in and it is a very slight tint (I have very pigmented lips). No way is this a popsicle type stain as previous reviewer said. You can barely see the color on the lips. If you are looking for a moist balm, skip this one.

I haven't written a review in forever. This product has compelled me to do so. I noticed this on a women I work with, and it looked so pretty on her, I asked what she was wearing. The next day I was grocery shopping and picked it up. I'm not a usual Burts Bees fan, and wouldn't have given the display a second glance unless I knew how pretty this stuff is. I got it for $6.99, and it …Read more

Rose gives my lips a bit of a just-ate-a-Popsicle kind of stain, which I much prefer over bright/dark lipsticks as I think I look kind of strange with full-on unnatural lips. It is VERY sheer, which is what I love about it. I think I will buy the next shade darker, too. I also like that, unlike most Burt's Bees lip balms, it isn't hard/chunky and difficult to apply. I think the …Read more

This is a nice lip balm with a hint of rose color – good for winter time especially.
Not fascinated with the price as it’s close to Rosebud Salve’s price. I prefer that one much more as that one stays on more.
You do need to re-apply with this one. Not heavily scented and I like that it’s 100% natural. Besides that, it doesn’t get 5 stars.
Packing is boring and not sleek …

This product is a must have for my dry as a desert lips. I moved to the desert and my lips have never forgiven me or gotten used to the climate so I went on a quest to find the most hydrating lip products that include color, all of which are included in my reviews
.
This is the least expensive of them all. When you have dry peeling lips its impossible to wear a lipstick. I love a …

I have this in Rose. Its a very moisturizing lip balm and its beautifull tinted a natural sheed red. Packaging cute; comes in a cardboard holder. I love it. Color left a light stain. Very natural looking color. CVs had many colors. My lips feel very moisturized and not dry. I can't wait to buy other colors.

I don't understand the comments about not enough pigment. I have highly pigmented lips and have wasted money on many a product that promises to deliver "sheer color," only to find it indetectable on my lips (i.e. Clinique superbalm gloss). Not the case here. The rose color shows up nice and this does not dry my lips - which is quite rare for me. I wish CVS would have had other …Read more

This balm is actually a lot creamier than the original Burt's Bees, and doesn't have that peppermint zing. I love how it pinks up my naturally pigmented lips when winter wind and lack of sleep have rendered them chapped and pale. It lasts a decent amount of time - I have to reapply after I eat or drink, but I expect that of any lip balm. I was thinking of getting the Bobbi Brown tinted …Read more

I have the "Hibiscus" in this new Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, and it reminds me quite a bit of the Laura Mercier Tinted lip balms - but with out the color pay-off of the L.M. However: This lip balm is serious lip care, and I like it very much. I have Many lip moisturizing products.....all have been a let-down. Even the equally expensive Neem Oil Organic stick I was sure would …Read more
