This is similar to my fav CG Shocking Pink but not as neon, toned down version but still bright hot pink. This is my second Zoya polish and I'm so impressed with the quality of their polishes. It's so easy to apply, formula is smooth and never streaky and staying power is so impressive. I think I had this polish on longer than 2 wks w/out chipping. My fav summer pedicure color!

this polish is really gorgeous. It is a beautiful neon pink that will look fantastic on all skin tones! It goes on very smooth and the brush allows for precise application so you don't make a mess of your finger tips when in a rush! Three coats are required to get the best color, but each coat dries fairly quickly (because it is the perfect consistancy, neither too thin, nor too thick).
The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because it has a matte finish which I personally dislike. But if you like a matte finish then this is the absolute perfect pink for you!

This colour, to me, is the definition of neon pink! This colour just screams summertime! I bought this on total impulse... I have been looking for a perfect neon pink nail polish for awhile, and couldn't seem to find it in an OPI... I walked past a beauty store in my mall and this one stood out. Zoya is new to me, but that doesn't matter. I cashed in $10 and brought this home and yay, love it! (I don't know if $10 [Canadian] is the average price for Zoya nail polish, but that's what I paid.)

So after wearing it so proudly and showing it off to everyone I know (hehe), I have researched their website and am glad to learn that Zoya's polishes have a "formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor free, vegan friendly formula." Itís a lot of big words, so here Iíll sum it up: This is a good thing! Bonus!

And to top it all of, it's called Layla. I know when you hear that name you think of Eric Clapton's classic song. Big fan of that song and this polish. Weoo!

Layla is a beautiful almost magenta hot pink. Creme, no shimmer. A perfect color for the summer. This is what I wanted Lo to be which is a true 80's light hot pink. Very opaque, just needed two coats to be fully covered.

This is my favorite..... sexy HOT PINK with a LITTLE RED UNDERTONE...... neon ever!! Seriously
Cuz,it is a "bit" of a "MILDER NEON" ......
Which rocks for my age.... it does not look 'too out there" But, I also luv me some out there looking lacquers too.
Its just..... this particular one is the Holy Grail of the H.G's for me.....in the neon category.
I need this pink...... for the rest of my life!

LAYLA! You got me on my knees!
LAYLA! I'm begging you darling please
LAYLA! Darling won't you ease my worried miiiiind!!

.......and never become discontinued!!!!! LOL!

Yep! That was the beautiful classic rock song....."Layla" by Eric Clapton....who rocks on the guiiiiitarrrr!
It is so fitting this lacquer is named this.... since it is one of my favorite songs ever! That song always seems to find its way into my head..... a lot! Yes, I do love me some rock n roll.....(I play the drums)Lol!
( Here's a little info for ya....Eric wrote this song about his 'affair' with the late George Harrisons{The Beatles}..... wife!! Wife! I love that kind of drama! I know....Right! ;)

Anyways, sorry that I luv to ramble ;)
Layla, is a VERY BRIGHT.... REDDISH TONED.... HOT PINK creme.......

This neon has a bit of a "SOFTER EDGE" ...... than your typical loud and "retina burning" neons.

This hot pink does have some red added......but its not orange....Yay! Like most neons with red/hot pink combos can have.

I know it sounds odd to say "softer" about a neon....
But, it is a softer type of one!
