I wanted to get Coppertone Waterbabies Pure & Simple SPF 50 but couldn't find it where I live. Instead, I bought the LRP Dry-Touch Spray for sensitive skin. It costs $30 at LD but I had a $5 coupon. It's a 200 ml bottle. The spray is fragance and paraben free and very runny. I have taken 1 lippie off because it does contain alcohol. Dries quickly and does not leave a white cast. I used this on my face and neck every day for 5 weeks while on vacation in Asia. I was out every day, sightseeing, swimming, and horseback riding. It protected me well. No freckles or dark spots - I got maybe one shade darker (NW15). I applied it very generously, let it dry and put PF Healthy Skin Powder SPF 50 over it because my face was shiny after using the sunscreen (maybe because I applied a lot). Despite the high humidity it stayed on. This spray is for moderate protection (just read the label on the bottle) but it provided high protection For the body I used up a huge bottle of Coppertone Waterbabies SPF 60. I would not recommend this. I actually have a bit of a tan on my arms and legs.

I hate to be a downer, but I feel that this product shellacs my pores closed. It is not greasy, per say, but more of a tacky shine. I am stuck with it though, as the UVA protection is the best I can find. I cannot use it on sensitive skin days (following hair removal) as it does irritate me (I use Dermo-Kids) on those days.Still looking for my HG sunscreen!

If I put it on lightly, in ends up being quite matte (as far as sunscreens go). I've been making an effort to put it on more thickly lately, and it does take about 20 minutes for it to sink in. It can look quite oily and feels sticky before it sinks in fully, though less than cream formulas. I'm NC 30-35 and this does not leave a white color on my face. I have been using this SS for a few weeks now, and I don't seem to be breaking out from it. It also does not sting my sensitive skin, the way other SS do (and I put it quite close to my eyes). I sent a bottle to my sister in the US, and she and her very, very pale husband have been using it on their Caribbean vacation. Her husband did not burn at all after a long beach day (he usually looks like a lobster by day 1 of any vacation in the past). So it seems it does protect effectively from the sun, and it looks and feels better than other SS I've tried. Bonus that it does not appear to contain parabens.

New for Summer 2010. LRP finally steps up their game in Canada by adding Tinosorb S into the mix along with Mexoryl XL, Mexoryl SX, Avobenzone and Titanium Dioxide for an outstanding PPD (UVA protection) value of 20 (CIBA Estimate). This sunscreen is currently the highest UVA protection you can find on the market in Canada and rivals that of its European counterparts in terms of UVA protection. And--it's light, non-greasy and barely visible on skin. Comes in a large 200 ml spray for less than $30.00. Worth the price of saving your skin this summer. Now if LRP could step up their game and Tinosorb to ALL their sunscreens I wouldn't have to keep ordering my other SPF's from Europe. I'm thrilled to know that Canada has finally allowed Mexory and Tinosorb to be used together in the same product as it offers far better UVA protection than anything else available prior. Fantastic product!
