I got this from Amazon and maybe the tube they sent had sat in a warehouse for months, it is nearly impossible to squeeze out of the tube. Dryish texture, very hard to spread onto my skin, I will never buy again. Very disappointed and I wasted around $14.

I give it 4 out of 5 because while I wouldn't say the feel of the lotion is sticky or greasy even after letting it "sink in" for awhile, when I touch my skin, I know it's on there. It's not a heavy feeling and I can certainly get used to it, it may be the thickness of the lotion and the added "hydration" which, my skin is not dry so it may not fully absorb into my skin. I can't really describe it. It says on the tube that it is for all skin types, but I am thinking that all skin types may not have the same experience with this lotion. I think those with dryer skin may get the full benefit of the hydration and appreciate it more than I do, but it does make my skin feel very soft. Another thing about the lotion is it does have a fragrance which can be overwhelming to those with a sensitive nose. It is a bit on the perfume-y side for me, but I would rather have that than an overwhelming sunscreen smell.I love using my Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion, but using it daily at $40 a bottle, it can get pricey and it also contains parabens. I am willing to overlook the "feel" of Yes to Carrots Hydrating Body Lotion on my skin only because I have spent months and months in search of a paraben-free, oxybenzone-free sunscreen that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Yes, the $15 tag is still steep compared to other store brands, but feeling safe with what I put on my skin is definitely worth the extra dollars. This lotion has its definite pros and cons, and you need to weigh them according to what exactly you want out of your sunscreen. For me, the SPF factor is obviously the highest priority and then what the sunscreen contains. You can buy a cheaper sunscreen and get a larger bottle, but what you're ultimately getting are chemicals which may in the long run be harmful to you. If the ingredients don't matter to you, then save your bucks. But if you're like me and want to know exactly what it being absorbed into your skin, especially when you're using something like sunscreen daily, then definitely try this out and see if it's for you.

I bought this in hopes of replacing my Lubriderm SPF 30 body moisturizer, because this is organic.Okay, the texture isn't all that bad. It's difficult to rub into your body at first. The smell is great, and isn't overpowering. Goes away less than an hour after it has been applied. It doesn't leave a white residue. My body felt a tad stickier than moisturized. But the main reason I will not buy again is because it is twice the price of Lubriderm's (both found at target), and almost half the size. No, I didn't whip through the whole bottle in a week as a little does go along way and i don't have a whole lot of surface to cover...just my legs and my arms for five days of the week (who puts sunscreen on their stomach unless they're going to the beach?) lolBut I did finish it in less than four. For that, it's not worth a repurchase.

I bought this after reading a review in Lucky magazine. I'm the palest of the pale and having SPF built in to my body moisturizer seemed like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. The scent of the lotion was overwhelming to me on the first day, but I got used to it. My gripes with this product are: 1) I went through nearly one $15 tube in less than a week! 2) The lotion is uber-thick and sticky and left white stains inside all my clothes! I didn't quite finish the tube, but I just tossed it.
