Ok so this is an unbiased review...as I WAS onbsessed with this brands root amplifying spray which has *sob* been discontinued...that was my hands down most favourite product ever...This mousse however ....is hands down the most underwhelming product I have ever had to use...if anything it makes my hair limp.... And it also makes the crown area look unwashed and unstyled. Extremely unhappy with this product...tried it on damp hair, dry hair and wet hair ...no difference. Probably most annoyed about shelling out hard earned cash on this product than Anything else I have purchased before....yes it was that bad for me. Sorry David Babaii-but stick with what works: bring back the volcanic ash root amplifying spray and can THIS one because this was a very poor substitute.

Hands down, the best organic mousse. I usually use this in combination with the David Babaii for Wildaid amplifying shampoo or Sunsilk's volumizing shampoo and conditioner. But even without the other products it works! I get high, soft hair, that looks amazing. The smell is great too, and the texture is nice and creamy. The mousse massages well into my hair as well. I would highly recommend this product! You also don't need to work too much product into hair to get results.

I find the older I get, the lazier I am in regards to my hair. The thought of my hair routine consisting of blow drying, curling/straightening, topped off by teasing, etc is tiring and I love my sleep. Ever since I got a very layered cut that's beginning to grow out I'm noticing my hair becoming wavier (yay!). I've learned that if I don't hit that styling sweet spot with the right products my hair looks quite sad and limp with pitiful partial waves. For reference, my hair is henna treated, heavily layered with the shortest layers reaching almost my jawline and the longest layers about 3 inches past my collarbone, fine texture, but a lot of it. My hair is in the middle between wavy and straight.I've been using the Bohemian Beach Spray for a good while now and was curious about the mousse. Using the beach spray on its own was making my hair wave up more, but i felt I needed more oomph. A long time ago I had tried scrunching with mousse and gel and was stuck with a crunchy hot mess. I decided to take the plunge and pony up the $12 for the mousse at Rite Aid.The first time i used it, I started my spritzing my wet hair with the beach spray, scrunched, began adding the mousse, and scrunched more. I currently am not using any heat appliance and am only air drying. As with any mousse, don't overdose or your hair will either become limp, crunchy, or kinda dirty. I have to say, I'm very impressed. The mousse has almost a creamy texture to it and smells very faintly of coconuts. It also counteracts the slightly drying effects (it is salt after all) of the beach spray. The result when my hair dries are very soft, loose, beachy waves. It doesn't go flat and if I re-fluff the waves don't fall out. I'm thrilled my hair only takes about 5 minutes to do now. It washes out completely with no weird residue. I consider it kinda pricey but it's for a good cause and there's certainly more expensive hair mousses out there. Recently Rite Aid was doing a BOGO Free on David Babaii products so keep your eyes open. I highly, highly recommend this for ladies with wavy, curly, or hair like mine that's somewhere between straight and wavy.Update - I decided to diffuse my air to see what it would do and I got the biggest, sauciest wavy hair! Lots of separation and definition. Very pleased.
