I so wanted to like this mask. A hydrating white chocolate mask for $1.99? Truly too good to be true. I wanted it so badly and ended up buying it online because I couldn't find it in store. I couldn't wait to smell the incredible scent that bloggers all over the web were raving about.

I couldn't believe the smell of this mask. It smelt exactly like freshly painted wood with a back ground note of chocolate and wooden almonds. It's not pleasant at all.

Regardless I slathered this mask on (I can get two uses out of this mask packet but I don't really want to prolong the usage of this mask so I use it all in one go). It's a very creamy, off white mask that stung my face just the slightest bit. Once it was on my skin it burned slightly but that was replaced quickly by a cooling sensation.

This mask never really dries hard and cracks the way a clay mask does. Even after fifteen minutes (I never let my masks fully dry for fear of over drying my skin) it's still creamy. Rinsing this mask off, I've noticed my skin is soft and oil free. I find this clay mask slightly moisturizing, and that's probably due to the high content of moisturizing ingredients like jojoba oil and shea butter.

This will be a great pick for deep cleaning winter dry skin or dry skin in general but the stench is overwhelming. Don't think I'd repurchase it.

This mask smells really nice but doesn't do anything. Montagne jeunesse has really nice masks but I'd say you can safely skip this one.

This is an interesting product. It's the first of their masks I've ever tried, so i can't compare it to the others.
The packaging said it would ultra deep cleansing, so that's why I bought it. I couldn't imagine that it would cleanse much though, since chocolate products are usually more moisturizing than anything else. I was surprised to see that it actually does dry after about 15 minutes and felt quite nice too.
It didn't clear up any breakout or blackheads though.
The good thing about it is, that it is very relaxing imo. The smell is awesome and makes me wanna eat it (although I'm usually not a fan of white chocolate).
It just really didn't have any great effect on my skin and that disappointed me a lot cause I had heard such great things about it. It won't keep me from trying their other masks, but I won't repurchase this one.
