I'm an adult, and I actually decided to buy it and try it on my hair. This is the first and probably last product I will ever try from the Miss Jessie's line again.

There products are super expensive, yet the ingredients in it I feel really don t wasn't their prices at all.

This product did work well for my hair, but it is mostly made out of mineral oil and chemical ingredients that I honestly question on exactly how safe they really are. Plus, it has this very strong fake baby powder perfume scent. I tried getting used to the scent , but I couldn't so eventually, I ended up throwing the jar away.

I honestly don't recommend this product to anyone. Miss Jessie's is only out for your money and just coming out with product after product, making their line seem like it's all that, when it's not.

I got a sample of this at a hair show. Seeing the long list of crap ingredients made me wary of using it but I decided to give it a try anyway. My hair loved it. As soon as I put it on my hair became soft. I have 4c afro hair and it basically shrinks a little when washed. As I said my hair loved this product but my nose didn't. For something that could be used on kids hair the scent it way too strong. I'm grown and was wary that I could smell this product all day every day when it was in my hair. Because of this and going to Target to see that 2oz of this costs over $20 I declined to even think about purchasing this product. Instead I went to Madina'.s and bought a $10 jar of Shea and aloe butter mix (1lb in weight) to try that out and to my delight found that it worked exactly the same on my hair without the overpowering scent and crap ingredients. It only had 2 ingredients so unfortunately Miss Jessie's lost out on my cash. I noticed though that in Target and Ricky's Miss Jessie's has been put on display at the front so I guess people are either buying it or the company is paying to have it pushed in your faces to force you to take notice of it. It just didn't make sense to me to purchase it at such an extortionate price.
Question: Why would you spend so much money for a product that has petroleum, mineral oil and fragrance as the top 3 things on the list?

This is my letter to Miss Jessie's:

I have a bi-racial son with curly, dry hair (probably a combo of 3 b/c). I have been combing through the hair industry trying to find hair products to help moisturize and define his curls without making them greasy and hard.

I heard about Miss Jessie's a while ago but was very reluctant to purchase these products due to the price until recently. I walked into my favorite beauty store a week ago and they had started to carry the products. I went
a head and purchased a sample size ( 2 oz) of the Baby Buttercreme for my boy and now I will precede to let the company know why I will not purchase these products any time soon again.

First off, even before making a purchase, I was looking at all of the ingredients on the products, and they are pretty bad! I am very conscience of trying to live green day in day out and that includes the food I eat,
cleaning supplies, and beauty supplies for my entire family. Even after seeing the horrible list of ingredients, I paid nearly $10 for the 2 oz.

Which leads into the second reason why I will not buy your product again.
After seeing the list that is overflowing with badness, it makes me wonder why your products are so expensive. They are no where near being organic. Meaning if you had more natural and organic ingredients in the products, I
would be more understanding of the price. But definitely not understanding of the cheap chemicals and the price mark-up.

Now to my last reason. I get home that night and give my son a bath. Ready to see how well this stuff performs and I open up the container and the over perfumed product stinks up my bathroom and my allergies flair up. How
annoying and frustrating. At that point, I knew I should have put the container back on the shelf and proceeded with buying a different brand. So until this company cleans up their ingredient list and prices, you have definitely lost a customer. (end of letter)

So even knowing the ingredients in this product before purchasing it, I wanted to give it a chance because there are a few products( e.g. Silk Elements) that I still love that that work very well for me. That situation was definitely three strikes, you're out!!
