I have about a dozen Dior palettes and this is one of the very best. The colors are very flattering for my medium skin tone. They're all subtle mauves and grays and the shimmery pink in the middle. The texture is very smooth and easy to apply. Just a great palette.

Love this palette! Looks good with my brown eyes for a sophisticated day look. I don't use the middle (glittery peach) shade much (glitter particles are too large) but the others are great. I am careful not to mess up the lace print b/c it's so pretty, but eventually I will have to :( I say I won't buy again b/c it's a sold-out limited ed., so obviously I won't repurchase, but it's opened my eyes to the use of warm grey shadows which I had previously avoided. The grey shade is just right in that it's not chalky or too cool toned for my neutral skin tone. I find it also has good staying power.

I love limited edition items in make up, and when I saw this collection I knew I had to have something. It's made beautifully, the appearance reminds me of vintage laces. The colors go very well with each other and with my dark brown eyes. The purple shade makes my eyes pop, but I also love the pale pink and the taupe. I also find that Dior makes the most beautiful gray shadows, like the one in this palette. The biggest disappointment is the center color, which has many large glitter particles in it! This color is hard to apply and almost immediately all the glitter ends up on my cheeks and nose.
I'm also not fond about the Dior quint packaging, since I prefer packaging with no applicators (and therefore no room for applicators). I only use my make up brushes anyway and I think that the packaging is unnesessary large for 6 grams of eyeshadow.

Well, I bought this palette yesterday and tried it only once, last night.. Although the colours are perfect for my cool colouring, and although the quality is simply perfect, I am sort of disappointed with the look I got.. Is it that the colours are too subtle? Or maybe the problem is that the three darker shades are barely distinguishable from each other. Anyway, I don't regret buying it, because I know the colours are right and the texture is superb..But with such a price tag, I guess I expected a more dramatic touch... But an edit may come soon, so the jury is still out..

This palette came with the Spring Collection 2010. When it comes to eyeshadows I honestly have everything there is. Well, almost. The reason for still needing this palette is simple: Its colours are unlike any I've ever seen and they're matte! Yes, I hardly have any matte eyeshadows. The only slightly shimmery eyeshadow is the peach-pinkish one in the middle. All the others are beautiful, gorgeous nudes in mauve, grey, dirty purple and light (skin coloured) pink with an absolutely unique lace imprint. The colours are neutral but still smokey cool and provide a heavenly subtle, yet striking finish. It's perfect to wear both at the office and after-work parties. Especially the grey turned out to be what MAC's "Silver Ring" couldn't be for me. As for texture, the eyeshadows are just as lovely: finely milled, feathery light, highly pigmented, easy to blend, colorfast and they last, last, last. That I would find me a palette with 'new', never before seen colours, was really unexpected. I am so very happy with this and would totally approve if it got permanent, but for now this is a limited edition. I paid a hefty price for it (55, though worth every cent). Photos of the pretty uploaded above. Highly recommended!!
