This is a good, but not great lip balm - especially considering the price. I love the elegant, vintage-looking white pot packaging and the beautiful rose scent. While this is very moisturizing, it is not particularly plumping. Having said that, because it is so hydrating, it does give the impression of a slightly fuller lip.

I must say the after the big hype about this lip balm I was really intrigued to see what it's all about. The only thing stopping me was the price, but I kept reading more and more about how amazing this balm was, "best balm ever" many reviews called it. So decided to pay the price and try it and I really do like it. It is a great lip balm, very moisturising, lasts long once on and it does give a small plump to my lips. It lasts forever, a little goes a long way. There really is nothing bad I can say about it, the only thing stopping me from purchasing it again is the price, it is WAY too much and I don't think it's worth it.

I love this. I used to be 100% happy with Blistex DCT but then I developed a sensitivity to it, LipMedex, Carmex, and all the other inexpensive balms I used to love. I had to get rid of a nearly new tube of Jack Black, and have a nearly new tube of Philosophy I can't use. So I tried this and am very pleased to have truly soothed lips. Yes, it is pricey. But since I use mostly inexpensive skin care products (CeraVe cleanser, rosewater toner, CeraVe eye cream, Aquaphor and Nivea moisturizers), 1 luxury product that helps my lips feel good does not break my budget. I will be buying it again. And the empty tub will make a good bead container for my hobby.

**NOT DISCONTINUED** to my knowledge ---I just got mine recently from Sephora the brick-&-mortar store so I'm pretty sure it'd not DC, it's also on Sephora.com so yeah it's available if you have an extra $27 in Ei burning in ur pocket u need to unload at Sephora for a really good lipbalm! I've got the Dior Abricot nail cream on order too but my dad had to go into Sephora to return something for me (I am having problems walking) & he got this for me to cheer me up. It's the most chic thing ever next to my Ficarre hair clip & Chanel perfume I own! The packaging is simple, elegant, smells faintly of roses & imparts a lovely shine & feel. No pinching painful lip plumpers but lips feel plump, soft, silky but I can see myself getting addicted & used to becoz my lips feel so much relief from dryness & pleasant after application. This is not greasy, it's creamy & it soaks in then it's gone coz I purse my lips unconscious habit but my lips are sore a lot & raw this is a relief to the pain! I feel a bit of mild panic if I can't find this or my Dior lip addict revive glosses I don't care how small my handbag is, it's got to contain something Dior!! I wish I could afford to get more things from Dior but when you're broke like me it makes I appreciate all of the things I have that are precious & dearly come by. It makes me so thankful to have "my things." My things bring me creature comforts & when your lips are sore & dry that is the worst! My lips are sensitive to overly mattifying lipsticks. This is totally different than anything I've tried. It's not like Rosebud's salve (that is "too" aggressively rose scented) nor Fresh Rose lip balm (more greasy). MAC lip conditioner is my fave lip treatment as well Dior lip addict reviver & carmex. I RIS a raspberry creme Nivea lipbalm but it is much different than this. This is just about lip nirvana. downtown triple crown!!

This is the HG lip balm for me. It perfectly smooths your lips and lasts a long, long time. For most lip balms, it feels quite heavy but this one is lightweight. Living in a very dry climate, I need something that would prevent cracks in my lips and this one does it for me! The packaging is quite chic and I take it to school with me everyday. It doesn't open randomly and I find it quite secure.I also personally like to use a bit under my eyes as well as an "eye balm" when it gets dry. Definitely give this a try. If you don't like it, Sephora has a pretty reasonable return policy (:

Between the packaging, smell, and product itself, the quality of this is phenomenal. It goes on smooth, and I especially love to apply this over a matte lipstick! It may plump the lips a little, but nothing crazy. Perfect to put in your bag and use all day long!

This is a really great product. This makes my lips really full without making them bigger per se. The lines of my lips are greatly diminished and the outline of my lips stands out more making them poutier. I feel like it makes my lips look the way they'd look if I didn't constantly bite them and drank a gallon of water a day and lived on a farm, ha! It adds some shine but the most magical impact is how youthful it makes my lips look! Not to be weird but it kind of gives you baby skin. It looks glowy, fresh, plump, and balmy. Not like lip gloss but that rosebud, even texture of very youthful skin. I even went to a spa for laser hair removal and the technician asked me if I had just gotten my lips done! It's pretty moisturizing but I cannot see it being transformative for the most parched, bitten lips like mine NOR is it plumping in the way that cinnamon oil or plumping lip glosses are. With this one there is no tingling, no pain, no porn star lips. With that in mind, I would wait a good 15-30 minutes before you get to see the full results. For me, I like to use it night and day but especially after I wash my face and before I put on my makeup. I walk around getting ready and when I'm about to do my lips, I wipe some off or add a thin layer of lipstick over it to give it color but retain the effect of the balm. Also, added perks:1) My husband notices. It's so strange how one part of your face can illuminate your entire visage. I catch him watching my mouth when I wear this ;*2) Smells like roses but not cloyingly so. 3) Light baby pink color that won't really interfere with the color of your lipstick or lips. Just gives a slightly milky appearance on its own.4) Decent, heavy plastic packaging. Feels like glass but isn't so it's not too heavy. Will forever buy! I have three and I keep one in my car in the winter when I'm sure it won't melt.

Call me crazy but my lips feel plumper when wearing this balm even if they don't appear to be any plumper. I should disclose that I LOVE Dior products and have yet to be disappointed by any of those I have purchased. I was looking for mainly an overnight lip balm to treat my lips and keep them from chapping during winter. This is perfect for that and equally great for during the day use too. Pricey, no doubt. It is Dior after all. $33 Cdn which I must admit is a little expensive but what can I say, I'm a Dior junkie. This balm is not sticky, the texture is creamy smooth, not exactly light, but not heavy either. It is not greasy like Vaseline, has only a faint hint of rose scent which is quite nice and has decent staying power. I have a tendency to go through lip balms at warp speed, applying often through the day but this seems to last a bit longer than the others.A note about the packaging - it would be preferable to have this in a tube however I think the consistency is too thick for that. I personally do not like using my fingers to get the product out so I just use a brush (handle end) so I don't have to contaminate the product or get it under my fingernails. I wish they gave a plastic paddle applicator with the balm but I make due with what I have. You could probably use a lip brush if you wanted but I don't especially like that either, just a personal preference. None of this would deter me from using the product because I do think it's the bomb/balm.

What I love about this is that it is highly moisturizing without too much shine. This truly is a balm and not a gloss. The consistency is perfect because it's not too thick, not too watery. I've tried everything from La Mer, to 3LAB, to Chanel and this tops them all. Many people notice that lip balms work at first but then actually make their lips worse. This isn't the case with the Dior. It's moisturizing 24/7. The scent is soothing and light which doesn't offend. I highly recommend!

Bought this at Sephora a month ago. It smells wonderful, like it's made with real rose oil, which is probably why it is so expensive. It's a perfectly nice balm, but it does not plump lips at all. Not even a little bit, and my lips will plump nicely with Buxom lip gloss. It comes in a pot, and since I'd rather have a stick balm, and it's expensive and doesn't plump, I won't repurchase. I like Dr. Hauschka's lip balm in stick form, so I'll stick to that!
