I got she color Ebony, which is a gorgeous reddish brown. It really makes my green eyes pop, worth every penny!

Bought this because my grandmother was wearing it one day and I was amazed at how it made her eyes pop. The subtle way in which shimmer, shine and colour are combined in these pencils really creates a striking effect. Subtle enough to be worn during the day, the khaki colour does wonders for my dark brown eyes and warm complexion. The pencil itself is soft, smudge-able and easy to apply. The packaging is gorgeous - this is a good-looking product. The variety of colours, numerous. Granted, it is a pricey, but you won't find a similar effect in any other product. Only down side: staying power is less than ideal. Tends to fade a little over the course of the day. Other than that, I love it.

I picked this up in Steel. Color is reminiscent of Guerlain's loose kohl in Noir, YSL's liquid in Miore,--all variations to greater or lesser degrees of shimmery blue-black. The Sisley was actually very similar to the Chante gel liner pencil in Hematite but Chante's seemed a *tad* bluer and more shimmery. I have trouble with liners pulling too much blue against my skin, so I went with the Sisley. Incomparison to the Guerlain, which initially wears like a blue-black but fades to a definite silver-blue, the sisley wears more stormy gray and more subtle, not as deep. In comparison to the YSL Miore liquid, both with two healthy swipes, not smeared out, look near identical (pencil/liquid versions of same tone). As the YSL smears out, it reveals the shimmer and has a more watery effect on the color of my eyes. I prefer the YSL. The Sisley doesn't blur out in the same manner. I'm happy with my purchase though because it is the pencil version of the aforementioned tone, and easy to carry with, touch up with, some times a pencil is just easier. Wore for a longer time than the YSL and easier to not have to constantly touch up. I'm very impressed by the overall wear of this pencil. Applies easily, blurs when you want and wears for quite a while. lacks the dimension though of the YSL and for the price not a repurchase for me.

Bought this eyeliner after I heard it was Jennifer Anistons favorite.(I'm such a sucker for a celebrity endorsement). Thought it looked more khaki before I applied it. Def an ebony color on. Went on very smooth and lasts all day. Really loved that it made my eyes sparkle. A bit pricey but I felt like it was well worth it.

Iíve received several 0,5 gr samples of these pencil in shade Ebony as a GWP. The application is smooth, and although it doesnít look like it, the pencil is extremely soft. It is very pigmented, but after several hours of wearing it Iíve noticed that the colour isnít as vibrant as it was when applied. Donít let the shade name mislead you Ė I expected that something called Ebony would be black, but it isnít. The shade is dark greyish brown. Iíve never even considered wearing any other shade of an eye pencil except black, but this shade made me reconsider my choice. It is the perfect shade for everyday look Ė it manages to outline the eye without looking too dramatic and over the top. This is definitely on a good way to become a HG. I think it could even be used as an eyebrow pencil, at least on those with lighter eyebrows. The pencil doesnít smudge, but keep in mind that I donít put it in the waterline. The full size pencil is expensive and comes with a smudger. There are several othe shades: Black, Brown, Steel, Khaki, Navy, Plum, Snow, Purple and Deep Jungle
