I have bought quite a few lip glosses over the years but on the whole have been driven a bit mad by them - my hair seems to constantly stick to them! I bought a mini set of these lip glosses - they were in the sale at Space NK and I really liked the colours so decided to give them a go. Well I love them! They are my favourite glosses I have ever tried and its because they are really not sticky and in the past I have blotted them when I have applied too much and found that the pigment is so good that the colour remains on my lips. I'd really recommend these if you are not keen on sticky glosses.

I also found it very difficult to select a colour that I could actually wear from this range even though I was shopping for a winter red boldish type colour. I went for 15mins and am very pleased that I did. It goes on with the ease and cleanness of a conventional gloss yet has the finished look of a moist (sexy) lipstick. It also wears well through the day and requires very few reapplications compared to most intense colour lip products. I sometimes tone it down with a light coloured gloss over it. The additional bonus from this product is that my lips don't dry out quickly as they do with a normal lipstick. Another reviewer mentioned the Big Bang gloss - I found this to be intensely sticky and super glossy and not something I am comfortable to wear, both in feel and look. I'd say if you are over 32 and want a classy statement lip product then try 15mins of fame.

These are well-priced, quality glosses in my favorite type of packaging--click pens. I love that they are akin to shiny, shimmerless, liquid lipsticks. They also last very well and feel cushiony on lips. Despite the good qualities, I found the colors difficult to wear. As they were inspired by the pop art movement, the colors are opaque, heavy and skewed towards very cool skin tones. In fact, the colors are brighter in real life than online. 3 Minutes, described as "Smooth Apricot", looked fluorescent pink on my plummy-brown lips. 5 Minutes (Pale Peach) would normally be a color I could easily wear, but the opaqueness of the color washed me out. I hated all but 12 Minutes (Deep Rose) included in the QVC mini set. I've since bought two full-sized colors: 4 minutes( Naughty Nude), and 14 Minutes (Gorgeous Grape), which work better with my complexion. Still, not much of a selection for me. I'd be open to repurchasing if I found more neutral, complex colors. But then it wouldn't be pop art...

Of all the Lipstick Queen products that I have tried, these Pop Art glosses are my least favorite ... but they're still pretty good.I bought the mini set - "Five Minutes of Fame" containing minutes 3, 5, 11, 12, and 13. I gave away minutes 3, 5 and 11 as mini stocking stuffers or to tie on top of gifts, but I kept minutes 12 and 13 for myself. In terms of texture, these glosses are smooth, and would probably fall into the "non-sticky" category, but they are stickier than Lipstick Queen's Big Bang glosses, which I ADORE, or Dior's Creme de Gloss, for example, which are my other favorites. The Pop Art Glosses are certainly not drying, in fact, I would say that they are slightly moisturizing, but not to the degree of the other examples noted above. Texture, and how gosses feel on the lips are important to me, as I'm not a lip product junkie, I'm actually fairly choosy - just a pretty color isn't enough to make me really like something. The texture and feel of these is good, but it's not fantastic. I like the twist-up pens, they're pretty easy to use, and you can get a lip-brush like application without a separate tool. But there is so little product for the price (I know I've got the mini's, but this seems to be the case with the full sized product as well) ... I would rather see a non-shimmer range with the same formula as the Big Bang glosses - at least in those you get more 'bang' for your buck (lame lame lame). In terms of color and appearance, Minutes 12 and 13 do look quite good. They are transparent, not opaque glosses, with more of a jelly finish than a creamy one. The color is buildable, and the look good with a light application (just giving a tint of color) or carefully built into a heavier application for lots of brightness. On my lips, the light application tends to look a bit more natural, as lip colors really 'pop' on me (let's veer away from a second lame pun). If I was rating these colors separately, I would give 12 a 4 and 13 a 3. 12 is a muted rose pink, which gives either a 'my lips but better' light tint, or a pretty perky pink pout. It looks quite good on me, enough so that I've already gone through 1/3 of the product, though I've only had it for just over a month. 13 is a significantly brighter raspberry/fuchsia color which stands out brightly on my lips, even in a lighter application. It's 'fun' but it just doesn't really suit my complexion that well, there are other brights that look better. Overall, I'm rating the glosses a 4, which I think is kinda generous - mainly it's because there's a great color range, and 12 really does look good on me - with such a nice range, I think that most people will also find a shade that lights up their face, which is always a good thing.I LOVE Lipstick Queen, and I wouldn't say that these glosses are disappointing, but they aren't life-changing, like some of the other LQ products have been for me.

Love them. 99% of glosses out there dry out my lips. I agree with the previous reviewer though. Color selection is rather cool or for light lips. If they came out with a brown-nude, or a deeper pink-nude, I'd snap it right up. I can wear 4 of the shades though, and they are beautiful. These glosses make my lips look angelic.
