I was looking for a less expensive alternative to my Pureology hydrate shampoo. I wanted something that had no sulfates.

When I first saw this at ULTA, I was excited, and it smelled great. The end product is just fine - but no where nearly as good as my Pureology Hydrate :(

At first I thought this smelled delicious, but the scent doesn't last long. Now, most people don't want a really strong fragrance to their shampoos, but for example with Pureology - I don't mind a slightly stronger organic scent like that.

The cost was $9.99 at ULTA for this bottle.

I'm planning on finishing up this bottle and going back to my Pureology Hydrate.

I couldn't find any reviews for this shampoo, but decided to risk it and give it a try since Whole Foods has such a liberal return policy. I really like it so far. It leaves my hair very shiny and smooth, and doesn't seem to dry my scalp out.
The smell I can't quite place, but I like it. I am curious about the conditioner so will have to try that next. So far this is a keeper. For reference, my hair is long, fine & straight and I use henna/indigo to cover some grays.
