Great concept, poor execution. I was so excited to purchase this after watching the styling videos on their website. Don't be fooled by their swanky accents. The actual curling iron, while packaged in a sophisticated looking box, seems a bit flimsy and poorly made. The heat glove that it comes with is very large leaving extra space at the fingertips (I have relatively long fingers) and making it a bit difficult to hold on to your hair. However, my main complaints are (1) there is no temperature setting to this iron, just "on" or "off", so you have no idea how much damage you are doing to your hair nor can you make it cooler....which is important because (2) even with the glove on, you end up burning your hand. I even tried layering TWO heat gloves and that didn't work either. (3) there's no stand. My old Hot Tools curling iron had a little metal stand, cheap but effective, so that you didn't end up putting the hot iron down onto your counter. Not so with this one, and the fact that it doesn't even have the tradition clip part of the curling iron means you really have nothing to lean it on.
In terms of results, it's difficult to get the results they show on the videos. You probably could if you weren't constantly dropping your hair from burning your hands all the time. For the $180 they charge for this iron, I definitely would not buy again.
