My former fave concealer was NARS RCC but this is better! I *also* find as mentioned below my tastes have become "more refined" (v. good point, I'm 39) & I gravitate towards Chanel which is strange because a couple of years ago I thought MAC was all that, a bag of chips, & a box of HoHo's but MAC doesn't fascinate me as much anymore. I've got $$,$$$ worth of MU & seem to use my Chanel the most. Well this concealer 1st of all 20 is my perf color in all chanel products (pressed powder, liquid fdtn, concealer), I can't believe 1stly I got so lucky guessing my color but I had a travel palette that had pressed powder in 20 & it was a good match so I ordered on the phone took a calculated risk for an early xmas gift for myself. I dot 4 dots under my eye, strip down my nose & any red spots/blemishes; it's like voodoo magick how good it works & set w Chanel pressed powder in 20. I want to try their eclait concealer next. I will rebuy! I'm done buying NARS RCC. Not a huge diff in $$ & this is so silky fine moussy texture. Excellent product HG doesn't give me that inverse raccoon look yanno when concealers are too day glow yellow pale (think e.g. Donald Trump). When it's wrong it's wrong but when it's right it is SO RIGHT!! This concealer is right!!

I adore this concealer it's fantastic for dark circles and doesn't settle into fine lines. Definitely one of if not THE best undereye concealers I have ever used. I find pen concealers ie YSL touche eclat don't have enough coverage to hide my dark circles. This is a absolute treat. Xxx definitely a make up bag staple.

Update: I had bad allergic reaction to this product. My eyes have been red and extremely puffy above and below my eye. It took me awhile to figure out it was this product that caused the reaction. Due to the reaction, this product no longer goes on smooth. Oh, and this isn't a short term reaction that disappears after I stop wearing it. My eyes are still inflamed days after. Only seeming to come down in redness, but still swollen under my eye and dry and puffy above. I may see a doctor if this persists.

I wasn't looking for a replacement eye concealer when I ran across this product online. But I have to admit that I haven't been really happy with either my dated Lancome Effacernes or the sheer coverage of my Natura Bisse Cure Sheer Eye. Swatching this item in store I decided to give it a whirl. Love the coverage and smoothness it gives my eye area. The only thing I have to watch out for is applying it directly atop of moisturizer, because over time that will just be transferred and mixed inside the product. Because of this, I would have liked to have seen this in a tube or bottle that makes dispensing onto fingers easier.

All in all, I'm pretty impressed by the coverage, smoothness, finish, and color match I was able to achieve.

For reference I use the Marc Jacobs Full Cover Correcting Brush No. 14 for application. For face concealing I use MUFE full cover concealer.

Excellent concealer, another winner from Chanel. It'll cover a lot of issues and can be used easily under the eyes without dragging the skin or settling into lines, gives a beautiful result. The wand used lengthways is great to just glide on product under the eyes, or the tip for blemishes or specific work. It looks and feels invisible but does a great job at hiding what you need to. I've used everyday or as needed for years and it's a staple in the make up bag. I can't see me changing to anything else any time soon.

This is a great concealer - doesn't cling to my dry patches or crease. The lightest shade is a perfect match for me.

Chanel is Chanel and I find that the older I get (I'm 49 and have been a make-up junkie all my life), and the more refined my tastes become, the more I gravitate to this line.

I would say this is medium to high coverage, very blendable but has great staying power. I have chosen this one over: Marc Jacobs, Clarins, Laura Mercier, Armani, YSL, Clinique, Lancome and many others I've since forgotten.

I buy #40 for when I'm tan and #30 for when I'm not (as the goal is for concealer to match your skin, not lighten it). I believe it also adds a bit of a glow.

It lives up to the Chanel brand and my favorite concealer.

I looked at some of these reviews just now and I guess it depends on what you are using it for. I mainly use it for under eye and to contour certain areas around my nose. I love it. I use it with a primer and foundation and its perfection. I dont use a brush, I dab little dots very lightly wherever I am using it and blend up gently patting. I am also using a lighter color than my complexion so these small little dots contained to certain areas go a long way.
I have some discoloration on my face but wouldn't use this concealer for that. Its creamy but its also liquid. If youre looking for heavy coverage over blemishes or scars I'd suggest something thats more of a solid cream or laying an actual liquid foundation with buildable coverage. I guess the price is steep considering its a "concealer" and I dont think its very multi-purpose but for what I use it for, I really love it.

I only used this a handful of times and should have returned it. But I kept it and it sits around never getting touched. I have it in Beige Clair, which is a good match for my skin color. There's no shimmer or light-reflective particles but it isn't entirely matte either. The consistency is very light and smooth, a little gel-like, sort of like a foundation. It spreads really easily and sits against my skin well without settling oddly or enhancing the occasional dryness I get beneath my eyes. The doe foot applicator is fine even though I don't use it for application; I dab a little on my finger or the back of my hand and use a concealer brush. The packaging allows you to see how much is left in the tube which is always helpful. My skin is very sensitive and it never irritates or causes a reaction. Fragrance-free too.

Now for the numerous cons. It fades after a few hours and all but disappears by the end of the day. That's its biggest failing, IMO, and it's one of the most important aspects of a good concealer. If I use it on my eyelids it creases immediately, something my Cle de Peau and Giorgio Armani concealers never do. And as far as coverage goes I'd say it ranges from barely there to very light. I need it for my dark circles and it offers as much coverage as a thin foundation, and after it fades I look like I haven't put anything on. I can't even say it's similar to a lightweight highlighting formula like YSL Touche Eclat because those stay put longer. My skin is normal, sometimes a touch on the dry side in winter so its not oiliness causing the lack of longevity. Generally my skin is pretty even toned and I don't deal with breakouts, but I doubt this would offer any sort of coverage for blemishes or spots. Plus it doesn't seem buildable at all so any chance having flexible coverage is non-existent.

While this feels comfortable and I love the silky texture I do think it's lacking in so many other areas. It's fine for days when I've slept well and my allergies aren't bothering me and I only need a touch of undereye coverage but for every other day it's next to useless. There's plenty of other concealers out there that would perform better than this one.

Ok soo I have been using concealer for about 2 weeks now. Iam truly amazed and satisfied with it. It covers my dark circles very well and little product goes along way.It has great coverage and the most thing I love is... That its not drying or cakie!!! and thats is amazziiing :) I also noticed it didn't sit on my fine lines. Though remember to first blend with concealer brush then tap with yours fingers and DO NOT rub or drag fingers!
I have tried many concealers but this is truly the BEST!
