Tiempe Passate is the weirdest fragrance masterpiece ever. It smells of old books and I love it.

This is pure magic and romance- a scent that embodies a classic romantic movie. Lovely, lovely, lovely. HG for sure. I always get complimented on this by both men and women alike. I don't have very much of this left of it and every time I open my medicine cabinet the scent lingers- it is so beautiful. You must go out and purchase this one.

I remember when Tiempe Passate was released in 1999 and thinking back then how wonderful and unusual it was. Since then, I have smelled a lot of perfumes, in particular some wonderful rose scents, and I am no longer in awe of Tiempe Passate. It starts off which a strong alcoholic top note and then evolves into a passable rose scent. It is not bad, it is not great, it is just ok. I get a touch of cedar and salt along with the rose notes but honestly, Tiempe Passate is boring. If you want a stellar salty, beachy rose scent, I would suggest Rosine’s Ecume de Rose.

This is one of those fragrances that will cause strangers to compliment you at the mall (it happened to me!). It just smells clean and lovely. Starts out with a blast of bergamot, then the "salty" rose note kicks in, and underneath, the cedar and amber accord keep the fragrance warm and inviting. This is not as floral as the other Antonia's Flowers fragrances. The cedar note, in my opinion, is what really makes this a unique fragrance. Some people complain about the short lasting power of this scent. I've found a way to fix that problem -- get the matching body cream. I applied the fragrance at 9 a.m. and it's now 3 p.m. and still going strong. True, this scent is pricey, but sometimes the website ( offers a deal -- buy a fragrance, get the matching body cream for free. I've also seen it on eBay from time to time. Tiempe Passate is one I'll always want to have on hand, because it's the perfect all-occasion scent -- not too heavy for summer, yet not too floral and fleeting for winter. Warm and sexy, but not heady. Give it a try.

This is a fresh, green, woody scent. Nothing really distinct about it, not horrible, but not great either. Very light fragrance and fades quickly.
