This is the best sandalwood fragrance I have ever tried. It starts off sandalwoody (duh) with a hint of cumin and then cedar, and then you realize, this is not cumin or cedar-- it is the smell of...

This fragrance would work best for a man. Santal Blanc smells exactly like the fresh cedar wood shavings I used to line my gerbils' cage when I was a kid. Scent memory is a funny thing, and I...

Not much santal about it, not that names necessarily bear much relation to indgredients. Similar to Le Feu d'Issey, which maybe accounts for the "milky" note noticed by one reviewer. Also reminds...

Diet Arabie. More prominent sandalwood than Arabie, but similar fruit/spice accord, and much "lighter" in texture. I also smell cedarwood, which could be a problem if your skin type tends to bring...

I think you either love or hate the fragrances that Serge Lutens creates. I think they all have a very foody, heavy quality to them, at least all of those that I have tested. This one is no...

I'd have to agree with the majority of the reviewers below. I did get the woods, the cedar, the cinnamon, the pink pepper and the raisins in this. There is a strange combination of sweet and sour...

Easier to wear than Mysore but less exotic. Santal Blanc is more luminous, fruitier and floral (tuscan iris). I find it closer to Bois Et Fruits than Santal de Mysore (woodier and spicier). In...

I love sandalwood and I like white flowers, so this should be perfect for me. Alas, no. I get the white flowers briefly, then a bit of sandalwood, and then the pencil shavings. They're bland pencil...

Santal Blanc just didn't move me. It's woody, it has a Sandlewood dry down that just is not awe inspiring. I can't smell the iris or cinnamon...just the very faint hint of woods and sandlewood....

A very sweet, yet spicy white pepper scent with a slight aura of burnt cedar wood in the background. It's slightly repulsive really. And I wouldn't know this was supposed to evoke sandalwood...
