This is terribly cost prohibitive but it's an awesome powder absorbs oil the best of all loose powders & the pressed is equal to MAC Blot powder if not a little bit superior imo. MAC & Chanel make the best powders. P&P is my go to in the AM. Chanel ridiculously expensive it's absurd but MAC is more affordable than chanel (when do I not feel like saving $20?! I can buy a lipstick!) lastly you can back to MAC the empty containers 6 gets u a new lipstick!! 9g is stingy but hey you are always getting a fresh supply if ur a regular user. I haven't even panned my P&P pressed powder & I've had it since xmas but I don't use it every single day I'm rotating P&P loose & P&P pressed between my chanel, blot powder, studiofix & bareminerals. Don't try this unless you want to start a high end powder habit lol the DS stuff won't compare. It's so finely miled & controls oil. I apply it w my Laura mercier powder puff I feel like my brushes are mostly ineffectual i use cheap brushes thou. Spend all the cash on the products none on the applicators ha ha I do have a few MAC & chanel brushes. None that work well w this powder. :/ hmmm...

i used this for years, but i feel like i'm losing my 'youthful glow' and need something a bit more brightening now.if i don't find anything better i will do back to it because it's pretty decent.

Just looked at the reviews from users with dry skin like I have. Guess I'm the odd man out on this. Absolutely hate it and am throwing it out after using it three times. The pros: it's not expensive and is very finely milled. The cons: sucks the very life out of my skin, making it look flat, dry, and lifeless and exaggerating any and every tiny flake in sight.

i've added some photos.UPDATE: it does change the tone of my foundation, like it delete the warmness of my foundation, but nothing too crazy.sooo yeah i do like this product, it just does what it says to be short. I'm using it with a kabuki brush which makes it very easy to apply.the only thing is the packaging is a very big mess, so i've found a solution haha, i bought a kind of compact powder box thingy from the face shop and then put the mac powder inside (i have posted the photos).remember to do not put too much if you don't wanna look like a ghost, loll.

Bought this on a whim last year when searching for a decent translucent powder. Pros:- quite good at setting your makeup.- price isn't too bad compared to the costs of other high-end powders.- does make my skin look more smoothed out.- has lasted me almost a year!Cons:- not too keen on the packaging. Had to take the sifter out in order to get to product that had gotten stuck around the sides.- doesn't leave a white cast on your face that you can physically see. However, it's a bit noticeable in flash photography. It's good to use in the daytime but not on a night out or when you're at an event where people will be taking pictures.- not that great on my oily skin, face starts to get shiny after about 3-4 hours. I find it need to use another powder as well as this to make my face makeup last all day. I think this is better suited to people with normal skin.I used all of the product and did like it a little. However not enough to repurchase - I am still on the hunt for a decent translucent power.

I use it to set my undereye concealer (Mac studio finish and BB creamy concealer) and also a bit over my face to set my foundation . It really helps to prevent my concealer to crease, it sets everything in place, so I really happy with it for that purpose. I just hate to use loose powders. And with this jard, that all the powder get on the upper part of the retainer. I may try the pressed version.

Incredible stuff. Makes my oily skin spotless and matte all day. You only need a tiny amount, this stuff will last forever. It helps blur redness and uneven skin.Packaging can be a tad messy, but very minimal.Best powder I've used thus far, I've tried em all.

Quite shocked that I haven't reviewed this as this was one of the very first products I swapped for when I started here on makeupalley. This powder is everything! I used to use it in conjunction with the MAC prep+prime primer but I never repurchased when that finished. This product lasts a long time. I think the reason why I do not reach for it all the time is my travel schedule. My pressed powders get all the love when I travel for obvious reasons. One tip of the container and I have a huge mess. Anyway, I love the finish this gives my makeup. I am MAC NW45 so pretty dark and delicious. This blends seamlessly and does not make me look ashy or give my pictures a white cast. As a matter of fact, I am of the opinion that this sets my makeup so beautifully that I always look better with this on my face than I do with the blot powder. For some reason I do not think the particles in the blot powder are as fine as the ones in this one. This noticeably reduces shine associated with my oily skin and it the perfect finish before blush and lip gloss. I will certainly repurchase, I recently got the pressed version for travel as I think I am done with blot powder once I finish my current one.

MAC Prep + Prime is my #2 powder pick. It gives me perfect polish and very slightly whitens my face. I use it when I want to be fancy. My #1 pick is RMS "Un" Powder. It's absolutely invisible with great performance (blurs imperfections, mattes shine). RMS gives me a very natural and believable look.Powders I like less than the above:- MUFE HD Powder goes a bit white for me and I'm very pale. It also catches on dry flakes.- Laura Mercier Loose Translucent is more beige than white and blends into my skin pretty well but I think gives an overall dull appearance.

The MAC SA used this on my face after I tried their new BB cream and I was amazed by the matte and silky finish. However, when i went back home and tried to use it on my own it got a bit messy. Plus, I'm not sure it's that translucent. I'm an NC25 in mac and even though it blend nicely after a couple of hours, it still looks a bit white when first applied. I honestly think the power is in the kind of brushes you use and a little goes a long way, then just use a cotton puff and your ready to go.Pros:*sets foundation/concealer all day long*matte finish even with the oiliest skins* doesn't cake*will last you FOREVER or maybe for a few months heheCons:*expensive*messy package But you know what, this might be the best setting powder I have ever used.
