I used to buy these with my mom when she was in cancer treatment. They aren't as glam a name as OPI or Essie but WOW the quality! The coats are even, rich, true, and last quite a long time! These nail polishes come in tons of colors, and only one or two have ever stained my nails. I'm a student and a waitress, so my nails go through a lot, but these last the better part of a week without topcoat, and up to ten days with! They are my little secret. However, they aren't as glossy or striking as my favorites from Marc Jacobs beauty or OPI. I'd say a good staple to have, but not standout.

Avon makes my most favorite nail varnishes. I love the color Cotton Candy from the Pro line. It's the perfect pink! I'm pretty hard on my nails and I have 2 small children, and this takes a lot punches before it starts to chip. I have several shades and always mix and match and change it up. They are great value to. Sometimes you can get 2 for 6 bucks. Amazing.

Great quality polishes! I love them. The result lasts at least for 6 days and remains shiny. Also the colors are amazing and stylish. They apply easily and they are very affordable. My favourite polishes!

I agree with alot of people on here, Avon have really improved there nail polishes!

I done Avon about 10 years ago and never really like there nailwear, however now my little cousin does it I thought I would give it a bash!

Bought a bottle of the Everest Green and it was great. Only needed one application, VERY HARD WEARING AND LAST FOR AGES, great price and also the colour is exactly as it is in the bottle. (nothing worse when the colour is much weaker that you hope!)

Everyone commented on my nails and I going to get a collection started of all the colours!

Peace xxxx

I've been using the Avon Nailwear Nail Enamel in Clear for several months now and wow! It's as good as some upscale, pricey brands!

This polish gives a great shine, is easy to apply and dries in a timely manner. And, the polish lasts!! I can go a full 4 days without any chipping or noticeable peeling and I do my own dishes (no dishwasher) and gardening!

I have to hand it to Avon for really improving on their Nail Polishes! Avon has also removed Formaldehyde and Touline from their polishes, which is a bonus! And with a low price-- I paid only $2.99 for a bottle, I would highly recommend this!

I really wanted to love this polish - I bought it in romance, a lovely smokey purple. On application, it took so long to dry that my right hand was weirdly smudged when I wore rubber loves an hou after application, and my left thumb peeled away two hours later when I was fishing in my handbag for my travel card. Polish that doesn't dry after two hours? Not good, won't buy again. It's a shame, the colour was fab!

Pleasantly surprised
I have this in grace which is a taupe tan color like iced coffee and I mixed it with a bit of french tip white to get a lighter color and its a nice neutral nail polish that is new new favorite
however the tips of my nails did chip sooner than with other nail polishes and this polish is a bit runny and watery but after I mixed it with another nail polish it turned into a lovely colour

I have Avon's nail enamel in Tropical Punch, Rave and Retro Rose. The colors are very pretty and the formula is fantastic -- better than OPI or Essie. Really! I've worn Avon's nail enamel for up to 19 days without getting a chip. And that's on my toenails, during summer sandal season. With my OPI and Essie shades, I can't go more than 8 days without having to do a touch up. Avon's color selection isn't as wide, but they do offer a good variety of classic and trendy shades. If you can catch a sale, these can be ridiculously cheap.

I bought this in Textured Teal--OMG! What a beautiful color! Not teal at all--I'd call it navy. It is rich, and dark, and gorgeous. One coat covers, but I'll still use two. This is not a novelty/trashy/cheap color, it reminds me of the nail color palettes from the 1940s.

ETA on June 12:
I painted my toenails with two coats on June 3rd,
with no base or top coat, and it still looks good
and I've only had one tiny chip. Since the 3rd, in
addition to bathing, I've soaked my feet, worn
closed-toe shoes, and even cut the grass in sandals.
I did add a 3rd coat a couple days ago, but I'm
usually so rough on my hands and feet that I have
to start over with fresh polish every couple days...

ETA June 21:
Still wearing the June 3rd Textured Teal on my
toes--it has not chipped on the ends, and I do add
a fresh layer every 4-6 days or so, because my nails
are growing so fast. I'm really loving my dark blue
toenails--they look so freakin' sexy with high heel
sandals.

ETA June 25:
I finally removed the polish because my nails
were getting too long & I had to trim them...

ETA July 10th:
Bought another bottle in Cherries Jubilee & have
worn it on my toes since June 30th, with no chips
or need to reapply. This color is beautiful, but
2 coats is not enough to make it opaque.
