I've been using the Nature's Dermatology Vitamin C Peel Off Masque for a few weeks now and absolutely love the results, so I decided to try out a couple of other products from the line: the Action C Serum and Action C Creme. I got mine directly from the manufacturer because it was the cheapest I came across, but it's also sold by Aromaleigh and a handful of other companies online.

The serum is a thick gel in a hygienic pump bottle meant to be applied under a moisturizer. The manufacturer (Dermasoft/Action C Skincare) description: "Vitamin C Serum reduces wrinkles. Quickly erases facial lines and wrinkles. Helps prevent new ones from forming with continued use. Vitamin C Serum provides powerful antioxidant protection and skin cell stimulation to firm, tighten, smooth and re-texturize skin. Reduces fine lines and wrinkles without irritation, promotes cellular turnover and renewal to help regenerate collagen. Action C Serum rejuvenates, heals and repairs sun-damaged skin. Lightens skin redness and fades dark marks including sun spots and age spots."

I've been using the serum at night, under my regular moisturizer (LUSH Vanishing Cream or Gorgeous) and a few drops of argan oil. The texture is fairly light and it sinks into the skin well, but it tends to leave my skin feeling a little bit sticky. Since I use it at night, that doesn't bother me much, but I wouldn't want to use it during the day or under makeup for that reason because the stickiness would bother me and probably make it difficult to apply foundation over top. The stickiness does go away, but it takes longer than I'd like.

I'm seeing very good results from using the serum and the Action C creme. These seem to be adding to the effect of the Vitamin C Masque, making my skin supple, smooth, more even-toned and glowy and fading a handful of small hyperpigmented spots across my cheek and chin. I'm also seeing a noticeable difference in a fine line next to my mouth (caused by my crooked smile) and some fine lines starting at the top of my forehead. I saw results almost immediately and my skin is improving more and more every day.

The serum and creme have given me my old skin back. I've been looking haggard and worn down for the last year or so thanks to stress and my skin was showing the effects, but my skin looks (and feels) infinitely better now. I'm completely sold on this skincare line. If I wasn't so happy with my current face wash (Fresh Soy Face Cleanser), I'd try the Action C Foaming Cleanser.

PROS: (1) sinks in quickly; (2) doesn't irritate my sensitive skin; (3) pleasant, non-perfumey sweet citrus scent; (4) noticeable results quickly; (5) applies easily; (6) reasonably priced (but not cheap).

CONS: (1) leaves my skin feeling sticky for a while after application; (2) contains parabens which may put some people off; (3) no expiration date on the bottle.
