I love Aveda lipsticks because they taste good, unlike most lipsticks that have a horrible synthetic taste/fragrance. However, they aren't the most moisturisng, but at least a percentage of the money is put towards something meaningful unlike 99% of other cosmetic lines. Anyway, regardless of this I think this is a really pretty daytime colour for my yucky pigmented lips. On me this is a semi matt rosey brown shade , I have to be careful as so many pinks turn fuschia on me or else the orangey brown in warm toned lippies make me look muddy and therefore emphasise the sallowness of my complexion-this does neither and just makes me look fresher, a bit more polished without screaming LIPSTICK.UPDATE: Still like this but am taking off one lippy as I have found this eventually turns into a browned orange on me, which seems to happy with many lipsticks on me.

I'm generally not a huge fan of Aveda cosmetics because when compared to other brands, it tends to be in line with the subpar cosmetics you'd find at Whole Foods: natural but with odd textures. I went a little nuts one day when I found myself in Las Vegas and I hauled 4 eyeshadows and this lipstick, and the case that held them all. This lipstick is a flattering, deep but neutral, YLBB rose. It has a sweet taste and a matte/cream texture which I love. I would definitely rebuy at $14 even though the packaging options are complicated (you must buy the case or the cap separately). NC35/MMM
