I agree with the poster below me. I purchased this because they claimed it was a "makeup remover/cleanser." Not a chance. It's got an oily/cream feel to it and it just kind of moved the makeup around my face rather than remove it.

I won't be buying this again.

Gorgeous ingredients but didn't do a great job at removing makeup. It kind of sat on the surface and I found that I'd have to use a lot of product just to get the job done (and there's not exactly a lot of product in the container to begin with - 50 ml for about 20!) I find cleansing with oil so much more effective (not to mention cheaper) even with my normal to oily skin - but I just can't resist trying new products! The second billed ingredient in the Buttermilk cleanser is sunflower oil (and it also contains six other oils), and I really can't see how the addition of milk powder (and various other things) would have improved its performance as a cleanser.

As much as I am willing to suffer in the name of beauty, I can't put up with the smell of this item. It's one thing to use buttermilk in cooking and such, but another thing when it's on your face. Too sour. It may be a nice thing for my skin, but the smell (and again, RIGHT ON MY FACE) makes me want to gag. The Buttermilk Cleanser is a creamy consistency. It is the first step in the Organic Apoteke's Rejuvenating Line, designed especially for dry, sensitive, and/or mature skin. I do LOVE the OA's rose toner (also part of the Rejuvenating Line), but the hunt for my HG cleanser continues. Until then, I'm happy settling with the Eucerin...

This cleanser is actually really good. Its best if you wet your face first then apply it as you use less product this way and it glides on. The only thing I don't like about the product is the size of the product, its only 50mls. Most cleansers are at least 100mls! It doesn't last five minutes!

I would repurchase if this cleanser was a bigger size as it quite a nice cleanser but because it doesn't last very long you need to repurchase more quickly.
