First of all, let me agree with Mayberry. I feel like I've tried so many high end foundations from Chanel to Tom Ford to LaMer to Cle de Peau to Kanebo Sensai to Suqqu just to name a few. I like the Chanel Lift Lumiere and the Tom Ford stick foundations. They are both pretty decent but I kept feeling that there's a better one for my 60 year old skin.

I actually found the by …

I have this in two shades - 10 and 100. Shade 1 is too chalky and pale for my BobbiBrown 3 or 3.5 skin. Shade 10 is my light skin tone, when I do rosy, softer looks. Shave 100 is stunning on summer, bronzy looks.
I would strongly advise against purchasing this without applying it to your whole face first in store and going home.. buy the next day if you feel it worked for you. It is not …

This is the most expensive - and one of the worst - foundations I've tried. Far from giving my skin a glow, it has an unflattering chalky undertone. And the colour - Neutral - is too peachy for my skin. I'm just hoping it's at least done my skin some good! Although - I've had an outbreak of whiteheads since I've been using it. Coincidence or ...?
I'm now on …

Really, there is nothing else like this. Not even Chanel -- which was my go-to "I Want to Look Great Tonight" foundation.

Pricey, pricey. Must be mentioned. I got it on eBay, which saved 30%. Still pricey -- but one of these is worth the ten others I have in my stash. Really, it is.

I turned 60 last year. I look 15 years younger (good genes and great attitude) …

This product is like a Korean BB cream (which are thicker, creamier than European ones, with incredible slippage and textures) with the coverage level of a light-med foundation. It glides right on, like a creamy, non-greasy moisturiser or silicone-based primer. The finish is satiny and hydrated skin. Pores, fine lines are filled in and imperfections are slightly blurred away. Your skin looks …Read more

I bought this foundation last year but never wrote a review because quite honestly I wanted to give it a fair review. I would hate for anyone to spend as much as I did for this product without giving it a long and hard trial. I use it once in a while and then put the jar in my drawer because I honestly have difficulty wearing something this expensive, even though I have tons of different …Read more

Update 7/11: I stopped using this after a while because the product seriously irritates my (very) sensitive skin. I've since found that to be true of most By Terry products. The irritation is quite pronounced--not something I can overlook (without gritting my teeth!). Definitely don't recommend this for people with sensitive (or fair) skin.

Original review: If this product …

This doesn't offer enough coverage It doesn't cover my blemishes or redness... a bit like a tinted moisturiser.. It goes on like a dream. It doesn't feel heavy and it is not oily. It only comes in one colour which will only work for fair to med skin tones. it is a good moisturizer that's about all for me. I don't like the packaging either. Just like the bronze opulent …Read more

Initially I planned to get this as a mix with some of other heavier pigmented theatrical fdn, however, when I tried it on its own, I was pleasantly surprised by the result. It doesn't covered much if you have skin as "dog" as mine but it does give you that deep abdominal breathing, after yoga kind of glow, absolutely without shimmer/glitter.
I find its quite similar to the …

This stuff is incredible. Ever since I've been wearing it, everyone I've met has said, 'You look really well, you're glowing, you look so fresh faced - what's happened?'
I don't know how it works but it does. When I tried it I was sure it would be too pink for my yellow toned skin, but within a few minutes, it had completely melded with my skin tone, and I …
