my beautiful friend on mua [pepeleru] sent me this lip liner along with macs little tease lip liner as a gift, she's a sweetheart & now im able to try a liner and a company I've never heard of and I love it!

being a nude girl, with my lipsticks, I need a good lip liner to compliment my them, look natural on my lips, and go well with my forever fav lipstick [myth from mac]

the liners I have been using that I like are-

subculture [pinky nude]<nrn
stripdown [brown nude]

oak [peachy nude]

they are all beautiful liners, but don't exactly work with myth the way I would like. im always on the lookout for the next best thing. I have tried drugstore brands like revlon, maybelline, rimmel, sally's beauty supply extra long pencil in "natural" amuse pencil that's also in "natural" and nyx in "natural" too. but I gave up looking since there's not that many nude lip liners out there. most companys have mostly all pinks and maybe one nude and its "suppose" to suit everyone. but not me!

until my girl sent me this joey super duper lipstick pencil. the company focused on making a true nude to work on any lip color and work with all nude lipsticks.

this pencil doesn't have a name, its a whole brand all in itself. the color of the pencil is white with red lettering. so simple and cute, reminds me of the style makeup was in the 80's :)

its a wooden pencil, so it doesn't crumble when you sharpen it which I love.

now to the best part,

the color and wear of this pencil is phenominal! its not dupable, and trust me, I've tried plenty to know. the color is a nude. but has hues of pink and peach all together, but not enough for either color to stand out more than the other or take over the nude/tan base. I hope that makes sense. its hard to explain how perfect the color is unless you see it.

when you swatch it on your hand, its a caramel candy nude. and when you put it on your lips [which all differ.. but most everyone has rosey pink lips] the liner seems to blend with your skin without bringing out the natural pink of your lips. [that's why the perfect nude should have a bit of pink in it to blend in and look natural, then the nude can do its job and tone down the brightness and wash out the rose tones, and keep the lipstick in place better.

the wear and feel of it is better than mac, victorias secret, sallys, revlon, and anything others, its has enough cream and dryness to turn velvet to the touch. its better than creamstick liners because it lasts longer, but has the feel of a cream liner. it never tugs on your lips.

the lasting power is the best ever! I apply this in the afternoon and doesn't come off until I take off my lipstick and for some reason when I use this, my lips tend to feel really soft. there's vitamin-E in it, which is like a moisturizing treatment built in.

I always apply my lip liners over my lipstick, because it changes the color of your lipstick on your lips completely when u line your lips first. but with the joey super duper lipstick pencil, I can line my lips first, and it won't darken my lipstick at all.

overall im highly impressed with this gem. its now a staple in my collection, I keep it in my everyday makeup bag. if you need a good nude liner and have problems like I do finding one with the right undertones, go for this one! like the name says, "its super duper" and that's an understatement.

I am not sure where to buy this, but I heard they are sold at ulta, otherwise you can order it online. and im not sure about the price either, but I really don't care... when I find a product that works fabulous for me, I don't care about the price, after all ...aren't we worth it ladies!?

we only get one face and one lifetime to flaunt it flaunt it!!

This is my HG lip liner. I've already repurchased it twice and will continue to do so. In addition to being soft and somewhat velvety in texture, the color is a true nude color that complements my lips well and blends in to whatever nude lipstick I put on top. This is the perfect nude lip liner if ever there was one. I originally picked this product up at Bath and Body Works, but they have since stopped carrying the product. Thank goodness Ulta sells these, otherwise I don't know what I'd do!
