I'm actually into my 3rd year of using this brand of contact lens. Previously, I have tried Surevue (1-month contact lenses from Acuvue) and Acuvue Oasys. None work as good as O2 optix. For Acuvue (or Surevue), the lenses are very soft and at times, I would end up tearing them accidentally. In addition, my eyes feel very dry after 4-5hrs of wearing, which is something that the occasional drop of eye drop would not help. With O2 optix, the lenses are thicker than acuvue's so they don't tear easily. My eyes feel very comfortable with this lens, as if I'm not wearing anything at all. Sometimes, I do wear beyond 1 month, with proper cleaning etc. I know it's not good for the eyes, but hey! it really does last more than a month and my eyes are still great! No itchiness, no sore eyes etc.Love this!

am happy with these after a disastrous few months with PROCLEAR. Proclear stuck to the eyes and also would flip and get lost with no help on my part. at a funeral a nurse who was there had to dig out one of these puppies in pieces and told me bad stories about them. back to Air Optix! what a relief. very comfortable. easy in and out. they are a little thicker but feel nothing and forget they are there. I have gone over a month with no problems but then never sleep in them. Watch for rebates and sales as they are a bit pricey.

Finally lenses I can wear ALL day!! I always dreaded putting in my contacts knowing that in just a couple hours I was going to be met with red and irritated eyes, as a result, I barely wore them. But these beauties are great, I can go nearly all day with little, if any, irritation. They are easy to pop out which is great for me since I would rip through a pair so easily. My dh loves them too!

I know, contact lenses, right? But since my switch to these silicone-based lenses, my eyes look better; clearer, the whites whiter, and the most amazing thing; products I use around my eyes that used to stick to my old lenses don't stick to these. They advertise that they've treated the surface to resist this, and wow, it really works. They almost don't need cleaning at all. I use eye creams, shadows, and line on the waterline, and was used to stuff scumming up my lenses and reducing my vision, but no more. I'm less weepy as a result, and my eyeliner lasts longer. I'm ELATED. The optometrist warned me that they'd take some getting used to; they're slightly thicker, firmer, and a little rubbery, but I had only slight irritation the first day, then nothing after that but comfort and clear vision. There's a slight difference in how one puts them in, you have to press from the side, and that was frustrating until I figured it out. My optometrist didn't explain that, and I wish she had! I kept waiting for them to get dirty but even after cheating and wearing a pair for nearly four weeks, they were still brilliantly clear and as comfortable as a new pair. They're also a lot more permeable than the old lenses (I wore Acuvue Advance, for reference). Cigarette smoke and raw onions make my eyes water now. They say up to five times more breathable, and they're not exaggerating. With all of the advantages of these lenses, I expected they'd be at least twice as much, but they're priced the same as my old lenses on a nationally-advertised contact lens web site. If your optometrist offers a free pair, definitely say yes!
