I LOVE this product. Its a blush lipstick combo. I put it on my cheeks for a natural flush then on my lips. I have a darker tone to my lips (this is too light) so I use a nars bright red pencil lipstick to work this up to a bright pink for me. It is what I love to wear everyday and I don't want to be without it. I also own vermillion and though that is a really nice natural colour I prefer the hot pink I can create with the sandstone and the nars mixed together. It ROCKS for daytime.

I really liked this while it stayed fresh, but after a few months it went rancid. At first, it was a nice, natural finish, and not drying. Then it got hard and gooey, smelled bad, and was unusable. I still had a lot left. I had two colors, and it happened to both of them. I think spending $40 on something that doesn't last even half a year is ridiculous. If that doesn't bother you then it might be worth it. Today I scraped off the top sticky layer and put the rest of it in a small plastic pop-top pill caddy. It doesn't smell totally fresh, but the consistently underneath the top layer seems okay. Maybe it will last longer than in the glass jar. I like the matte creamy pale pink color, but it is probably too pale for my medium-toned skin.

This is a lovely product for dry skin. The color is a light-ish neutral pink, and the texture is divinely creamy, so it blends effortlessly. It gives a totally natural blush--no shimmer--and you really look as though you're glowing from within. And it lasts all day--a real surprise from such a creamy (but not sticky) product.I do have three complaints, although I would buy this again in a heartbeat. First, the jar is such that there's about a 1/4 inch drop between the lip and the product, so it's a bit difficult to get out without getting it under your nails. Second, it has a natural shea-butter fragrance. It doesn't bother me and is unnoticeable once applied, but it's a little distracting. Third, it's pricey--$40.15 for 0.5 oz.--but it'll last forever. If you have dry skin and especially if you are of a certain age and are looking for a very natural blush that makes you glow (both the color and texture), buy this immediately! I can imagine using this almost every day this winter. Highly recommended!Update 5/20/09--I took most of this out of the original jar and put it in a smaller glass jar so it wouldn't have as much exposure to air. It went bad anyway. I love the color and texture, but it went bad in about 8 months, and that's too fast for a $40 blush. I will NOT be purchasing anything from Suki in the future. Natural is nice, but their prices and shelf life prohibit my using their products.

This is a great creamy everyday blush. Sandstone is described on Suki's website as being a "baby pink". That is a pretty decent description. It doesn't have any sparkle in it whatsoever. The fact that it is a cream means that it will not impart any powdery residue. It is great for summer time now that I have given up on powder. It blends in perfectly with my fair, freckly skin and looks perfectly natural. You can wear this on your lips as well although I have never worn it that way. I am pretty picky about my lip sticks and glosses so I can't imagine this would measure up if I used it that way.

Luckily, I picked up a pot of Suki blush on sale at Whole Foods. It was half off, which is all I'd want to pay anyway. It's a very lovely texture, applies evenly (but I need to work quickly before it sets), but it just fades too quickly. I have a Sally Hansen cream blush that wears longer than this $40 version. I love that it's natural and that there aren't any nasty chemicals, but if I don't want to touch up my blush during the day -- who has time? -- then it's not worth it. Also, it does nothing for me as a lip stain. It doesn't show up on my lips, and it dries my lips out. Won't repurchase, but liked it enough not to hunt through the garbage for my receipt to return it.UPDATE: It's now September, and the pot has already dried up. I should have returned it.
