I absolutely love this powder! I can't believe there are no reviews on this because it's one of the best powders I have ever tried. I am a powder junkie. I could probably open up a store with all the various powders I've got stashed away. I have extremely oily skin that has a tendency to break out (though thanks to Differin Gel this may be a thing of the past). My skin gets very red. It's not full blown Rosacea but my skin gets red and flushes quite a bit (I'm very allergenic). I have tried the super expensive T.LeClerc Banane powder as well as Bobbi Brown's Yellow powders and everything in between that is geared for redness and this beats them all hands down.First off, this is unscented so you have no scent to try and get used to. It's not cheap at $36.00 a pan, but it's worth every penny (and certainly more effective and less expensive than it's main competition which is T.LeClerc's Banane). This is a very finely milled, natural looking yellow that literally blends right in with your skin as if it belongs there. It's seamless looking and quite comfortable (even soothing which is rare to find in a powder). It literally sucks the red out of your skin but in a completely natural looking way. Some powders like this can be a bit chalky or leave a slight yellowish, sallow looking cast, but not this beauty. It leaves your skin looking like velvet and actually minimizes fine lines (which is something they tout, but I didn't believe it until I saw it for myself). It's almost like a primer powder because it fills in pores and fine lines as well as helping to diminish that awful ruddiness. It leaves just the slightest amount of pink in your skin so that you still look natural (only healthy and pink instead of blotchy and red)! Here is the description the company gives on this:Red Guard Correcting Powder is the savior of reddened and uneven skin tones. Its light yellow hue corrects redness and brightens the entire complexion without promoting a lemony finish. Its velvety, talc-free formula may be applied as often as desired without caking or drying out the skin. It controls shine, conditions with antioxidants and promotes a more youthful complexion by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, firming and tightening. Packaged in a slender, mirrored compact with application sponge.Recommended Use: Apply with puff to entire face or simply apply to localized redness or oily areas.Ingredients: Mica, Zinc Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Lauroyl Lysine, Butylene Glycol, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Impatiens Capensis Extract, Luffa Cylindrica (Seed) Oil, Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Lauryl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer, Dicaprylyl Ether, Pisum Sativum (Pea) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Algae Extract, Agaricus Bisporus (Mushroom) Stem Extract, Sclerocarya Birrea Oil, Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton), Silica, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
