For years I have used very high end pressed powders, as well a lower priced brands; I was looking for the perfect powder (for me). In my mistake drawer(all cosmetics), I cannot tell you how many compacts are just sitting there glaring at me. I tried to be careful in my decisions, I read review after review about which powder would be best. Also, keep in mind that I am cheap, so this was a great undertaking for me.
Anyway, I saw something online about GloMinerals Profecting Powder, and I did the research (read more reviews). For a year (or more) I contemplated making the purchase. It is NOT cheap! So I shopped around and found a reasonable price. However, I would open my mistake drawer and see all the compacts, and put the purchase on the back burner.
Then (finally) a year later on a hot, humid summer day as I looked at my oil slicked face, I decided this would be the day! So, I took the plunge and bought it.
I was eager for my purchase to arrive, but on the other hand I remembered my previous "mistakes".
The powder arrived. The case was blah to say the least. However, I tried the powder and bingo! This is the best ever! I could not believe I had waited so long. It (the powder) is light, does not turn a pasty yellow, and it works. It comes with a spongy puff, however, I did change that out. This powder is so good that now I have tried it, I would have paid double. Seriously. I am one happy powder camper.

I find this powder to be ok to good. It doesn't absorb or control oily skin, but it just gives you the matte finish, yet not completely dead dry matte. I like MAC blot powder better for touch up, although the Medium Dark shade can be a bit too white if you touch up too much. And the next shade of MAC is too dark for me. I have oily/acne skin at age 29.

I'm a converted gloMinerals girl. Was a faithful BE user for YEARS, and I don't know why I didn't convert to gloMinerals sooner. I purchased the Perfecting Powder as a complement to the Pressed Base foundation. This is truly a wonderful pressed powder, in that it's completely translucent. It will not change the color of your foundation. It absorbs shine and oil and gives a very nice soft, matte finish. I use it to touch up throughout the day, and it doesn't cake on my face. It's also great for my skin. I love, love, love gloMinerals makeup! Use this pressed powder with the ultra brush - you can't go wrong.
