On me its a sheer brown/berry color. You can apply it heavy or light so that it's not that overbearing.Doesn't last a long time but, I purchased it at the dollar tree,so you can't beat the price.I will be wearing this shade in the fall and maybe layer it with a long lasting berry lipgloss.

This is very similar to Clinique's Black Honey, but of course it's about 1/3 the cost. It's semi-sheer so it's easy to just slick on a little for some color without a mirror. It's neutral enough for anybody.

Not a bad lipstick, but it is not my favorite. The formula is not drying, and the color is a nice berry stain. I just don't reach for it that often, because I prefer medium-toned lipcolors. I think it's more of a fall shade for me. Don't think I'll repurchase.
Edit: I recently dug this out of my stash again (yes, I've had it a long time) and have done a complete turnaround on this. It is absolutely beautiful (particularly the golden sheer sparkles in it that warm up the berry color nicely). I've been loving this as my winter lipcolor. I will miss it once it is gone.

I love the color! But hardly any lasting power. This color in same formula as Revlon Liptints would be my HG lip product. I need to figure out a way to make this last longer...

In my personal opinion, this one is better than Black Honey, at least on me. Very flattering sheer brownish berry/wine--I like this one a lot in the fall. Last time I was looking at the Maybelline display, however, I noticed this color had a "last chance" sticker on it which is too bad. There are so many uglier shades in the WetShine Diamonds line that Maybelline should discontinue over this one--this one seems most popular of all if you go by MUA!

So-so. I bought this shade based on the glowing reviews, and it is kind of cool how different it looks upon application versus in the tube. However, I guess I just don't like the sheer, stained look, because this just looks kind of blah on me. It has a slick, greasy texture that doesn't deposit a lot of color unless you rub it back and forth for 10 minutes. The dark berry color accentuates any chappy flakes on the lips, while being surprisingly un-moisturizing. In this product's defense, I don't like Clinique's version either. Both create sort of a sloppy, berryish-brownish, undefined mouth that fades in about half an hour.

UPDATE: I discovered a far superior drugstore product for that berry-stained look: Black Opal Sheer Lipstick SPF15 in Barely Wine. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I like it better than Clinique, too. It's got SPF, comes in a secure, unbreakable tube, gives better gloss and staying power, doesn't bleed, and can be layered for a barely-there bitten look or a GORGEOUS Your Lips But Burgundy-er gloss. It is somewhat redder than Drippin' Honey, which I think is more flattering for warm-toned PPPs in need of some brightening.

I've been wanting to buy this for a while, but was deterred by previous experience with another Wet Shine lipstick (I forget which color), which was greasy and full of gritty glitter. A 50% off sale at CVS convinced me to buy this, however. The color--a sheer reddish-brownish tint with subtle gold sparkles--is super-flattering on me (neutral with golden undertones, dark hair and eyes). It's noticeable, but not overly-dramatic, and makes me feel kinda glamorous. Plus, it feels comfortable to wear and doesn't have a noticeable scent or taste. The glitter is fine and not too noticeable. I'm so glad I found a red lippie that's actually flattering. Staying power is not that great, however, and the packaging is gross, but I'll def. repurchase.

Though the name sounds very pornographic(Drippin' Honey? Do they think we have clean minds or something!?), this is a good l/s that I would probably repurchase. I don't remember the original Black Honey very well, seeing as I had it in 7th grade, but this seems to be a worthy imitation. On me it's a sheer berry brown & you can just BARELY see the gold glitter if you look close. It's somewhat moisturizing with no smell & a very slight inoffensive 'lipsticky' taste. If you like Black Honey, definitely give this a whirl. I only have 2 gripes; iI wish this were more berry & less brown(but I do like how it looks), and whatever colorants they used in this stain my lips sort of orangey-pink, so if I wear this, I'd better plan on wearing lipstick all day or else I'll look all 80's. The pink tube is cute, very girly :)

This is similar to Cliniqur Black Honey Almost lipstick...its a sheer berry brown red color that looks different on everyone. Cliniques versious is smoother and more moisturing and makes lips look more lucious. Maybellines version has glitter, lasts longer and you can apply as much as you want (with Black Honey if you try more than one "layer" it gets all gooey and congeals) plus its virtually the same thing for cheaper. Not crazy about the pink tube...its a little "Junior High" looking.

This was very hard to find which surprised me. I bought this because of all they hype saying this was like Clinique's Black Honey, since I have never tried black honey myself so I have no idea what the difference actually is. I like this l/s it's more like a stain on me color is a deep rich berry with some shimmer. I haven't found it drying but I only use it once in a while and I always apply a balm under and over it because I like the wet stain look.
