YUCK!! The fragrance, or should I say stench, is obnoxious and persistent. I tried this because of the good reviews at Sally. Won't believe those again. And, even if I could have stood the smell, the stuff left my hair looking and feeling awful.

I tried this product only recently because I have naturally curly hair and I purchased this for my mom after she found out the Biolage curl creme she used a few years ago had been discontinued. She has been getting perms but as she has gotten older decided to stop. I read online this is a close, cheap replacement. The price has gone up. It now costs about $8. I saw it in the bathroom one night …Read more

I have 3c hair and this is the best product I've used so far. It doesnt leave my hair crunchy! I used it right after cwc with some generic curl gel. It left my hair very soft and really helped defined my curls. It did leave some small white (tiny) clumps when it was wet. But I just picked them out and when it dried, they went away.

I saw many good reviews on Sally's website and decided to buy this. This was to eliminate using the curling iron. Well, it did not do anything to my hair. When my hair completely dried, it was frizzy and felt dry. I also tried this with mixing some oil and again, nothing, no curls, no waves, nothing to write home about.

Hm. This is a very interesting product. On it's own, it doesn't give me a lot of hold, but I played around with it and sprayed hairspray over it and my hair dried in beautiful waves. Still gotta try it over gel or mousse and see how it does. It smells exactly like Biolage products and the smell lingers for a long time, so those scent-sensitive might want to pass on this. It contains no …Read more

Ugh, I loathe this stuff. This got mixed reviews on the naturallycurly.com boards, but those who loved it REALLY loved it, so I figured it was worth a try for $5.

On the plus side: this did give me tighter, shinier curls. They held up pretty well overnight and into second day hair, as well. On the negative side: everything else. I don't love the texture of this. And it dried out …

I really wanted to like this. I had used a little sample of Kiehls' Creme with Silk Groom underneath a light layer of gel and it looked great. I decided to try this as a cheaper alternative as my curls are growing from super short stage. Regardless, I liked it the first day...(not sure why it worked then). But the next day, it was frizzy on 80% of my hair....I tried better distribution the …Read more

It figures that the cheapest curl product I own ends up being the best. I use TiGi curl products, Redken curl products, and Bumble & Bumble curl products. This one by Biotera, available at Sally's, is the only one that produces soft, defined curls every time. They're so pretty. It doesn't weigh my hair down, though I do like to include a thickening or volumizing spray at the …Read more

It is so funny. I bought this cream when it first came out and thought that it sucked. I even threw it away because I wasn't getting ANY definition in my waves with it. Fast forward a few years and I am reading reviews of it on naturallycurly.com and see people are combining it with harder hold gels. Ahhh so that is what I was doing wrong the first time! I purchased it again and see …Read more

I love this curl cream! I have 3a/3b hair- so it's frizzy and curly. I find that over a leave-in conditioner, this curl cream provides good curl definition. It's reasonably priced, and there's no silicones in it.
