i soooo wanted this product to work. in fact i sat and waited next to my mailbox for its arrival. the ingredients were fantastic and based on the description i thought i had finally found a natural mascara that delivered. boy was i wrong. i absolutely HATED this. it clumps, flakes off, does not apply evenly, and it bubbles out of the top, so you waste alot of the mascara. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

I tested this recently at Whole Foods and wore it all day (they have disposable mascara wands). I really liked it - I thought it added volume and texture to my thinning lashes. I put black on my lashes and brown on my brows, which I also really liked. As of yet, I can't see paying the price for brow color when I could use any old brown mascara, but I am planning to buy the black for my lashes.

Update! I bought the black mascara and have worn it for three days. It has been flaking off under my eyes, a problem I usually don't have with my usual cheap mascaras like Bonne Bell. It also seems to stop short; does not build any length. This mascara seems old and dry - I also bought the tinted moisturizer in Natural and it is so dry I cannot get it to come out of the pump container; I even shook it, took off the lid, and put it upside down in a jar and nothing came out. I talked to Whole Foods where I got them, and they will let me exchange them. I am going to try to get something else - I do like the Bronzer.

Gorgeous copper-brown color that looked amazing...for five minutes, until it started crawling down my face. So sad! I returned this very expensive yet disappointing product.

According to Suki's website, this Mascara is supposed to be " a dream mascara. this 100% natural, non-clumping, non-smearing formula has a way of making even the sparest lashes look movie star full and magazine-spread glossy. coats each individual lash with a 100% pure rich pigment, leaving them dramatically full and luxuriously long."

What a GREAT disappointment. While I know we cannot take the marketing script too seriously, I did expect some level of utility from the price tag of $31.50. As it turns out:

Volume - Nil
Length - Nil
Movie Star lashes - Nil ( A joke!)
Clumps - lots
Flakes, Smudges and Smears - non-stop through the day

This is the most useless makeup item I have purchased in years. Will go back to Zuzuluxe which is, not perfect, but much better than this one. For an organic mascara, Zuzuluxe gives reasonable volume and DOES NOT flake or smudge.

Both are easy to remove at the end of the day.
