For a brand you can find at your local Target, and for it being only $17.99, it's well worth it's weight in gold!I needed a scrub to replace my precious Philosophy Micro-derm peel kit, which I couldn't afford at the time. While perusing through my local Target I stopped and took a browse for a scrub that looked promising. None of the other brands really had something that was affordable and looked effective enough until I stumbled upon this beauty. I was debating about the glycolic peel that No.7 has but lately glycolic acid has been messing with my skin so I opted for this guy.I love how it not only works but is gentle enough to use a couple days in a row if my skin is feeling extra dull. I'm used to using a very heavy and intense scrub (like Philosophy one or Exfloikate) and this definitely does the trick...but I feel like I need just a little more "oomph" to get it to work as effectively. However for what you get it's a great brand using quality, professional ingredients at a drugstore price. A little definitely goes a long way and I've even used this on my body where my self-tanner got a little blotchy. Works wonders! Definitely will repurchase when I can't afford my other HGs!

I love microdermabrasions. I get them done at least 3x a year at the clinic. There is NO PRODUCT that could EVER replace what a esthetician can do with a wand blasting pressurized salt at your face. OK, now that expectations have been managed...This is an awesome scrub. I'm a luxury product junkie, but this is AMAZING value and doesn't irritate or break out my skin. You can spend $100 on the luxury scrubs, but this gets better results. For those who think this is not 'scrubby' enough-- just use more product and press harder with your fingertips. If you're really motivated, you can really sandpaper your face (recommend doing this in the shower, not the sink). And for the price, who cares if you use a lot of product! (One tube lasts a pretty long time anyway, even with generous usage 2x a week.)I would actually warn that this exfoliator is not for the faint of heart. It's quite effective. If your skin is sensitive to rough exfoliation, I would be more gentle and don't use too much pressure (like around any current breakout spots).

I have been impressed with most Boots skincare but not this. The concentration of particles is not enough to provide adequate exfoliation, there is not much point to this since I don't get a decent scrub. Its suspended in a cream base, pleasant scent. If they bumped up the concentration of exfoliation particles this would be a winner. Clinique exfoliating scrub is similar but much better.

HOLY GRAIL ALERTI have been using this product weekly for a month and I fall in love every time I use it. It has tiny micro-bead particles that gently slough off dead skin. Compared to other exfoliators with micro-beads this product has smaller particles, which is much more effective than other products with larger grains.PACKAGING: It has two types of packaging, the old one with the off-white color and the new one with black and white packaging. They are the same product with different appearances. Hope this helps.PROS:- Helped fade shallow acne scars, and I mean actual scarring not blemishes (you do need to use it a couple of times to see results, a month or two)- Fade Dark spots- Lessens blackheads and clogged pores- Skin is softer- You only need a little bit for the entire face, so the product last a long timeCONS:- Pay attention to the directions because if you use a heavy hand while scrubbing you will irritate your skin. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Other than that there are no real cons I could think of.Hope this review helps someone out there who is struggling with skin problems. Remember all products are YMMV, so what may work for a certain individual might not work for another. Patch test first with new products to see if it gives you a bad reaction.

I have FINALLY found a replacement for my discontinued HG Mac Microfine Refinisher. My skin loves this type of exfoliant - ultra fine particles, no lather. I have sensitive clog prone skin and most other scrubs scratch the hell out of my skin or do nothing at all (like those stupid artifical bead things). If anything, this product is better than MACs, which left residue behind and required a second cleansing. I am so happy!

I have been using this stuff for about 4 years now and absolutely love it. If ever I stop using it for any reason I really notice a difference in my skin! It's also very reasonably priced and I stock up on it when it's on 3 for 2 or when the £5 off No.7 vouchers are running.

Love this product. My face feels so much smoother and fresh. You notice results right away. Make sure you follow the instructions. My face was a bit red after but that was to be expected. When your done, you feel like you were just at a spa! Also I love the price. Most products like this are $50 or more. I'm very impressed with this product.

I LOVE this scrub. I used to use either my Clarisonic Plus or Kiehl's Epidermal Re-texturizing Micro-dermabrasion, but for some reason I felt my Clarisonic was making be break out (even after regular disinfecting with hydrogen peroxide) and at $40+ a tube for my Kiehl's scrub, I was on a search for an alternative....and this scrub was it! You just need to make sure you are using the scrub correctly...on a clean, wet face using light circular motions. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin so finding an effective yet gentle enough scrub has been so difficult. I don't care for the other scrubs with soft micro-beads as I feel they were not as effective, and scrubs with ground walnut shells would irritate and inflame my acne....so this scrub is PERFECT!!! I am also allergic to synthetic fragrances in my cosmetic products and since this product does not have any synthetic fragrance, it does not irritate my skin. I follow-up with either my Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel or an SLS-free cleanser and something soothing and non-pore clogging like my Medicine Mama's Sweet Bee Magic cream....trying to use more natural products. I swear, using this scrub in my regimine has kept my acne at bay!!! I will definitely re-purchase again and again....and saves me so much $$$$ :)

I'm not a fan of this, personally I don't think it's abrasive enough to give you an efficient enough exfoliation to even be considered microdermabrasion.Yes, the grains are very, very fine..almost too fine and there's not enough of them in there. It's mostly just a thin white runny cream with few super fine scrubby bits. It's very gentle, so those with sensitive skin that doesn't need too much exfoliation might enjoy this, but my skin though somewhat sensitive, needs something more substantial than this. One of the things I did like is that there's no added fragrance in this, so again, great for sensitive skin. This didn't dry out or irritate my skin and it rinses off completely clean but that's about it. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Olay Regenerist Microderm which I love, but this just didn't quite do it for me. I think I can actually get a better exfoliation from my normal scrub then I can this. Maybe my skin is just more problematic and finickier than most people's skin but if you are looking for a good microdermabrasion scrub, try the Olay one, it's definitely more abrasive and a little pricier but it will give you the softest skin ever. This did pretty much nothing for me.PROS:-unscented-squeeze tube packaging -hypoallergenic -cheaper than most other microdermabrasion exfoliators-rinses off clean with no residue-good for sensitive skinCONS:-not efficient enough exfoliation
