I get baby powder and rose with a small hint of spice when I wear this, and unlike most I actually like the smell of baby powder as to me it seems comforting. I'd probably only wear this during colder weather on a casual day where I'm just at home or snuggling up to a movie or just after a shower though, only because to me it seems like a warm cuddly scent and I seem to associate baby powder with being clean and cozy (I seem to have vague memories of baby powder being used on me when I was little lol which is probably why I associate it with comfort and being clean, strange how some scents effect us I think).

Sweet heavy bulgarian rose with that distinct tart edge, but also with the sweetness of the other florals. Slightly bitter edge of wood/saffron/sandalwood?Grass? is a nice addition, but I could wish it was stronger. So far, it's not drying that much different from other Parfums Rosines that I have tried and most of them don't thrill me much. None of them actually offend me, but except for Rose de Rosine, none of them draw me either.

Wow, I can't believe how powdery this fragrance is. This is a very dry rose with heaps of powder and not much else. If you enjoy the scent of baby powder piled on your skin, then you might love this. For me, I couldn't scrub my wrist fast enough, and felt as if I could suffocate.

soft & dusty rose, cool & sweet instead of warm & rich, reminds me of baby powder bathroom rose. Too soft/pink/fluffy on me, I'll stick with Poussiere.

RK is a lovely saffron rose set against a soft woody base. Overall there is an airy and fluffy quality about it. I love the way it feels very intimate and warm. The scent evokes more cashmire wool than indian spices. To my nose there is a similarity between RK and Alexander McQueen Kindgdom, if you take the cumin out of the latter. Indeed they share some notes: Bergamot, Rose, Myrrh and Vanilla.Longevity is rather remarkable for such a soft scent. Full notes are: Saffron / Rose (Bulgarian and Damask) / Coriander / Bergamot / Peonies / Myrrh / Woods / Vanilla / Vetiver / Sandalwood / Benzoin / Ambrette Seeds / Ambergris

Rose Kashmirie opens with a very strong, spicy saffron note and the saffron note stays throughout the 4 hours this scent stays on my skin, although it does tone down as it dries down. I was a little disappointed that the rose note wasn't stronger, but saffron always takes over on me, and there are also a lot of warm, woody notes, which compete with the rose. Rose Kashmirie is not at all sweet on me - as it dries down it becomes an evenly balanced blend of dry rose, saffron and woods. Nice enough, but I don't feel I need a bottle! (((C)))

Rose Kashmirie opens rather sharply, on a spiced citrus note. This must be the saffron listed in the official notes, but nothing in Kashmirie smells very saffrony, a la Safran Troublant. The rich, honeyed rose blooms as the scent dries down. The interesting thing is that I don't smell the rose when I put my nose to my wrist, but I do catch frequent whiffs of it in the excellent sillage. I always appreciate a scent that conjures up an "Oriental" feel without resulting to the cliched spicy-woody-amber theme. Rose Kashmirie smells like bright yellow and pink Indian silks. It is, without a doubt, my favorite new release of 2007.
