Turned my chronically dry skin into an oil slick!I have terribly dry skin. I have a constant struggle with dry flakey patches on my face. After reading the reviews, I thought this foundation might be perfect for me... wrong! When I first applied, I thought this might work. It left a really nice dewy finish. Two hours later, I looked at myself in the mirror, and was horrified to see my face was an oily mess! The first time in my life that I looked oily! I used toilet paper to blot it from my skin (which removed most of the product - bright orange on the paper too, this oxidized like crazy)Day two - I applied VERY sparingly, thinking I might have used too much. I set with a matte powder and went about my day. Again, two hours later, it looked like I spread butter all over my face! Won't be repurchasing.

I bought this foundation for christmas last year, in 'C5' . I expected it to be very thick and full coverage as it being a face and body one (I never done my research) so anyway, it came in a quite large bottle with a screw cap, i have rated the packaging quality as 2 because there is no way you can use a pump with this, as it is so watery, there becomes a big runny mess squirting it directly from the bottle. Anyway, the foundation itself is actually quite good, wouldnt recomend it for oily skin but on my bad skin days my skin is oily and it went fine on me! It is a build up foundation, but I actually used it in summer as a fake tan substitute. I'd do all my tan and hair, then throw a bit of this on my face and it went beautiful. As I have olive skin, it looked natural and couldn't tell I had any on, it is a very watery foundation but is great for summer. I even used this for nights out (only for colour purposes) over a matte foundation. I am going to be purchasing this again after christmas so it is in for summer :) it also gives a few months good use. Another negative is that you have tore-apply throughout the day to top up and keep your skin looking flawless and healthy, not blotchy. Thanks for reading! xxx

This is a really, really nice light foundation. What I love about it is the application is so easy; it is so thin in texture that I use it with my MAC 187 stippling brush to gently smooth it over my face. It also dries very well, and does not transfer onto clothing (which, sadly, so many foundations do). My skin is combination but never feels oily, it gives you a dewy look, that's for sure. I do prefer this to tinted moisturisers, if you're look for a light coverage base. I highly recommend if you're simply looking to even out skin tone, and give a nice finish. This is great for those days where you do want to wear makeup, but not make too much of an effort. I use C1 as an NC20, and it's perfect.

I'm roughly an NC20 in MAC shades with neutral undertones and use the shade C1 in F&B, which is a near-perfect match for my skintone. I find it very difficult to buy foundations as most tend to lean too orange or pink or yellow on my skin but this is just right. I like this foundation because it provides natural looking coverage, is easy to blend and is long-lasting. I have very sensitive dry skin so opt for moisturizing formulas, F&B contains several emollients and provides just the right amount of hydration for me. It's not oily or greasy in the slightest. Those with oilier skintypes may want to set with powder or use an oil-control powder though. However, I don't set it with any powder as my face doesn't get shiny throughout the day due to being dry. After 9 hours wear my skin still looks fresh and hasn't faded or slid off of my face. I have rather good skin in terms of blemishes - my main issue is just evening out skintone. F&B does just that. I apply one layer of foundation with my hands (best way to apply in my opinion) and it completely evens out my skin and provides light coverage. If I'm going out somewhere special, I may opt for two layers of foundation for a little more coverage. It doesn't cake up or look too heavy when layered in comparison to a lot of other foundations. I always get compliments on how great my skin is when wearing F&B. The only downside I personally have with this is the smell - rather chemically and not that pleasant, but bearable. It can also transfer a bit onto clothes if I'm not careful. I have also tried the MakeupForever face and body foundation, which I do not like at all. It breaks me out, the longevity isn't as good as the MAC one, there is no decent colour match for my skintone, it smells bad and I find the coverage to be inferior to the MAC one also. Not to mention it's more expensive!

Love this foundation. It's sheer but not too sheer and feels nice on my skin. It doesn't break me out and it looks like real skin. I have it in 2 shades so I can mix my own color summer-winter, it's so thin so it's perfect for mixing into any other foundation too. Some say it expires fast but my bottles have not at all and I have had them for almost a year now.

I keep straying then coming back to this foundation... Really love it, it gives a great dewey finish and so long as my skin doesn't have any obvious flaws or peeling from retin-a it looks great. My only issue with it is that it does rub off very easily, makes my face feel kind of oily, even though I have naturally quite dry skin. I actually like the way my face feels oily(strange, I know, but if you've always had dry skin it's kind of like oooh look how moisturized I am) but it's not great that it rubs off onto my clothing.I also tried to buy this in Australia and it's not stocked at many MAC stockists here, so I had to order it online... expensive... but it does last forever. I picked a couple of bottles up in the states from the MAC store and it was like $32 so that is pretty amazing value for how long it lasts.

I don't get the hype. The formula is very sheer, extremely thin. It is equivalent to a tinted moisturizer. Even though it can be layered, it will not cover much, your skin will still show -redness/blemishes/scars too.I love that it is moisturizing, and gave my skin a glow - but any tinted moisturizer can do this. The formula is very sticky, and felt like it never really 'set'. I didn't like this. I always had to use powder over it, and then the 'glow' would disappear.I am pale and neutral, I had C1 which was so yellow I almost looked jaundiced. N1 was far too pink.'perfect' matching isn't necessary with this since it is so sheer, but if you do want a good match you will likely have to mix a couple colors. For ghosts like me I recommend the white. The main reason I didn't like this was that after a few uses it started to really irritate my skin, it got really red and bumpy. I think it's from the orange peel oil. I don't know why they had to include this since it has no benefit to the skin, just for fragrance I guess.I don't recommend this, MUFE face and body is way better, no irritation and it actually covers.

This foundation is very light coverage (watery consistency), but you can build it up with a few layers. I found the colour match great, no problem. I have oily skin so I definitely need to set it with a powder. The bottle is very big, 120mls so for AUD60, it works out as cheap as the standard supermarket brands maybelline etc. Bottle lasts ages! Only negatives, the liquid separates after a few months and you need to shake it well each time you use to combine it again. Also both bottles I have had have always leaked in the cap. I would purchase again.

This is the best TM (little more coverage than standard) around. And with MAC you are sure to get the right color. I am a N2 and think this is perfect for daytime or weekend days. You barely need to use concealer if you have any acne. However, it feels like you have nothing on. The key, though, is to not judge it as soon as you put it on, it is weird because it takes a minute at least to "set" and is a lighter shade at first. I have tried the following TM's: LM, Tarte, Stila, Bobbi Brown and Dior and this is by far the best. Unfortunately manyh of the TM's out there come in a ridiculous three or five colors, as if everyone could fit into one of four colors, etc. You won't have that problem with this, and if you are warm or cool toned there is a color just for you.
