HG of lip balms. Makes my lips super smooth even my bf is hooked on it. Doesn't make your lips rely on it unlike blistex. Also use it to tame eyebrows, sheen on browbone, sooth dry patchs and blemishs etc A staple in my handbag always.
Update 13/02/08 I have gone off this product as it has petrolum in it :( but there is a natural paw paw ointmint at the health store which is petrolum …

DUDE! This stuff is so awesome. If you ever get a chance to buy some, stock up!! I use it as an overnight lip treatment. I compare it to Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - similar texture, no crazy herbal smell (smells like vanilla instead), similar results, far less expensive (about $4-5 Australian). You can buy this in a tube or a big jar. I prefer the tube. My BF also uses this for his chapped …Read more

i searched far and wide for this product, and finally found it on ebay from a seller in england. since i'm a complete lip balm addict and stay away from lip balms in a tube, this was idea. packaging was a little funky, but the quality of the product was okay. i'm a big fan of aquaphor, and was excited at the notion of finding a product comparable to it, but i think i like aquaphor …Read more

Looks pretty much like petroleum jelly, pale yellow in the tub but clear on skin, with a similarly slick, greasy feel. Texture is slightly less goopy, though, and there's a distinctively non-petroleum scent that's a touch sweet but very subtle overall. Feels great on lips, smooth and balmy without feeling gross and oily despite the texture. And unlike most wax and petrol-based balms …Read more

Man, I LOVE THIS STUFF! It is definetely my HG lip balm- lovely, thick, rich consistency which has staying power, and a delicious, yet subtle peachy-vanilla butter flavour. Soothes sore lips like nothing else. A MILLION times more effective and more pleasant to use than 8 hour cream, and a fraction of the price! Result! Contrary to other posts, I really like the packaging: i carry the tube …Read more

This has been my HG lip balm for well over a year, and I'm rarely without my big red tub. However, I'm starting to wonder if it's losing it's effect? It doesn't seem to do much for my lips anymore, it sort of just glides on (like Vaseline) without sinking in. Very disappointed, but I blame my lips, not the product!

Hate the name and packaging, it's a …

A few days ago I purchased my first tube of this wonderful stuff, and already I can say it is the best lip balm I have ever used. It is pale yellow with a thick, paste-like consistency that goes on smooth and seems to have a slight exfoliating effect. The scent is subtle, a fruity-nectar fragrance that fades quickly. It has smoothed and soothed the skin on my knuckles, which often get pink and …Read more

I bought this product in a big tub about 9 years ago and loved it then but i guess that i got suckered into other products since.
I recently tried it again (a friend had a tube) and was hooked! We can get it so cheap ($4.50 a tube) and i'm sure it will last for ages. I smear it onto my lips all day long and before i go to bed at night.

I dont know if it has anything to do …

I've had really bad dry lips (eczema?) for a few years now. It tends to come out in times of stress, and usually I can't do anything about it. Needless to say, when I read about this here on makeupalley, I had to give it a shot, even though I live in the US. I managed to get my hands on a bit of this from Ebay (seller moncoeur). So far this seems to be working for me, but I'm …Read more

I have a huge tub of this at home and am trying desperately to use it up. I am going to differ from all the reviews posted here by saying this is just another glorified vaseline.

I used it as lipbalm but wasn't overly impressed - still prefer the effectiveness of EA's 8hr cream and Jack Black lip balm w/ spf. Because it's made from fermented papaw, I'm cautious …
