Absolutely lacking in the personality that makes up so many of the Malle line. Almost cheery and summery when it first goes on, it fades quickly to a iris, non-powdery violet and (vanilla?) scent with a dash of green somethingorother. Lasting power is fair--it's just suuuuuper light (on my skin anyway) and is definitely one of those jam-nose-against-arm-to-smell scents. Not bad, not wonderful, just bland. Misnamed, in my mind--it didn't bring on the mood of winter. Rather, it was the beginning of spring.

I am a J-C Ellena fan and I am not ashamed to admit that. This creation was launched this winter and has some of my favourite notes: Iris, Rose, Violet, Cedar, Musk and Bois de Gaiac and Vaniila - it a very wearable sweet light perfume without any particular overpowering notes - the staying power is great like all FM perfumes and is lovely on my skin. I will be testing it a couple more times before caving in of course.
