I took a chance on Coco Mme due to the radiant reviews from the lovely MUA audience. This scent reminds me of TM Angel's shy youngest sister. It has some of the vanilla/caramel smell of Angel but is lighter on the patchoulli which is great b/c patchoulli is the devil. Strange when I smell my wrist where I sprayed it, I do not love it but when Im just walking around I can smell something that smells like a lush creamy vanilla with something deeper attached which is delicious! Its not a HG but a nice fragrance with the fab Chanel bottle.

Some fragrances tend to give me a headache. I took a lippie off because this one gives me a headache if i am just not in the mood for a strong sent. Otherwise, i really love this sent! It is a lot like chanel chance but more sexy/sultry/sophisticated and less young girl imo. It has a more powdery, deeper sent to it than chance.

I love the original Coco, but it definitely smells too "old lady" on a 22 year old girl like me. Chanel did a wonderful job taking the essence of Coco and making it "young" enough for me to wear. Like the original Coco, Coco Mademoiselle is sure to go down as another classic fragrance by Chanel.

I wish I could get on board with the fans of this scent. But it gives me a migraine everytime. It is just a heavy and sickening scent to me. I understand that if you can stick it out to the drydown its nice. But sadly for me I never can make it there before I am down and out with a headache.

Overall I like it, but it takes some time.... during the first hour or so it has this bubble-gum-like scent on me, but it fades after a while and leaves a feminine smell that I somehow find to smell like some sort of business woman. strong and compenent, yet feminine and sexy.

This review is for the original Coco Mademoiselle EDP, not the "Intense" version. A bastion of the fragrance world since its birth in 2001, Coco Mad took the radical juxtapositions in Thierry Mugler's Angel (bright citrus, sweet pralines, and funky patchouli) and made them much prettier and more digestible. Coco Mad is impeccably clean, right down to its white patchouli that is soothing, cooling, and fresh but never dirty or armpit-like. It is gorgeous from the neroli-bergamot start, through the jasmine-rose-praline heart, right down to the vetiver-patchouli finish. You WILL smell good and it WILL last all day.

Unique when it first emerged, Coco Mad has been copied and riffed on by so many other fragrance houses with their gourmand/floral/fruitchoulis that it no longer feels like a fresh idea at all. But this stuff was AMAZING to our noses in 2001. Nothing like it had ever been marketed.

I hate that I love Coco Mad. I want to oppose it on principle, for many reasons: because it is so incredibly popular and overplayed, because of the silly Chanel markup, and because it is so very modern and clean and I'm more of an animalic feral vintage fragrance lover who wants to be quirky and unique. However, one simply cannot deny how wonderful this stuff smells. It's aromatherapeutic and so sexy. I'm gonna wear it in spite of myself!

i stumbled upon this in the store today wanting to spray on Coco.... but saw this and not knowing what it was exactly gave it a try.

this may be the best perfume ive ever smelled in my life

its floral its oriental its sweet but not too so its spicy and some sandalwood in there and it smells rich it smells like being on a mountainside in montecarlo on a starry summer night with you being a goddess movie star in a black and white movie

when i later googled i found out its just been released see? it called out to me with its psychic powers....

This is so pretty I can forgive the commonality of this. I don’t particularly recognize this on every 2nd 3rd 4th et al woman at the mall or office (my office is a horse barn lol!!) I love this thou I got the 3.4oz EDP for xmas it’s fast becoming 1 of my faves I love it for day time ev day wear another #winner from house of chanel this smells like sparkling champagne lovely xxxxxxxxx citrus fruitchouli done RIGHT!! This is so diff than coco which is more mature, austere, stiff. coco mad is a sparkling white wine but coco is a stiff dirty vodka martini !! My mom said this should be my signature scent but I can’t give up eau fraiche Chance EDT just yet. I got 2 women complimenting me last time I wore it. It’s the world’s most sold perfume for a reason. I’m a sheep. Sorry but i like expensive trendy mass produced things sometimes (NARS “O” blush, Urban Decay Naked; Tom Ford Spanish pink lipstick all immediately jump into my mind but there’s more). I think this is a cheerful happy scent. It’s good for every day when you want something easy to throw on. If obscure expensive unique niche perfumes are more your thing then you won’t like this. But House of Chanel is my fave. The most perfumes I own from one company come from chanel. Mass hysteria would set in if this was ever discontinued or majorly reformulated. That’s why CM is easy like Sunday morning (Thanks Lionel Ritchie). This would make a hell of a gift for a younger lady for a first “real” expensive perfume or like a sweet 16 or graduation gift. There is always winter holidays/bday/push gift! I want this in body cream next. I think that will be my next chanel purchase. I have eau fraiche lotion & no. 5 lotion buy lotion is cheaper than body cream & body cream is much more luxurious/fragrant. This is for when I feel pretty & happy w myself which happen that often. But I spray it & i am transported to a different realm where everything is safe, warm, cozy, & bright. =] —- My Chanel’s are: Lotions: eau fraiche chance & no.5 EDT: eau fraiche chance (3.4oz) EDP: no.5, CM, Allure, coco, coco noir, chance, Gabrielle (all 3.4oz) Body sprays: eau fraiche chance & eau Tendre chance Parfum: Les Exclusifs Beige 0.5oz

I feel so fancy and chic when I wear this. (Ok, so I wear it to class, but you can't blame a girl for trying) LOVE the fragrance, the EDP lasts and lasts and mellows to a nice soft scent towards the end of the day. I simply am not dressed without this perfume.

This parfume is perfect.

It has a nice smell and it´s long lasting.

Wearing this makes me think of christmas, with my family. Nice, warm, cozy. A real delight.

It´s ekspensive, sure, but totally worth it.
