I have combination skin with some dry patches.

Packaging:

When it comes to the packaging of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel there is absolutely nothing to complain about it looks fantastic and it fits in every bathroom, it comes in a modern blue plastic jar, when you open it up it has a lid which is protecting the crème, so all good.

Pros:

- A soft-gel cream that goes onto the skin and dries to a silky finish.
- Soaks into the skin pretty fast
- My skin feels smooth after application

Cons and opinion:

My face looks really bad. I am not sure what happened.
Also, the fragrance is too strong. I can’t even describe it.
It was a bad choice. I think that it could be because most of the ingredients …

I like this stuff as a budget alternative to Clinique 72 hour moisture surge? whatever its called... the smell is stronger but fades quickly and I really like the consistency. I see this moisturiser as most useful in hot sweaty weather as it absorbs quickly and works well under makeup. Its not as luxe as the Clinique for me so it doesn't get the full marks but I think it does the job well. …Read more

Not for me. I bought this for the acid in it that was an ingredient in a much more expensive brand my friend was selling and raved about. Feels cool in the jar, dipping my finger into a watery slick gel consistency, went on nicely. I normally dismiss the reviews that say people had an adverse reaction (if it's the minority, not if the product has all negative reviews) because my skin …Read more

My oily, cystic acne prone skin has enjoyed this moisturizer. I've gone through a few jars, about one jar every month and a half. I only use it at night as the last step in my routine. Occasionally I've worn it under my sunblock during the day as well. I get dry patches in the winter time on my chin and its hard to find a moisturizer that doesn't break me out. This did the trick! …Read more

I like this product. It is nice and light. It absorbs quickly and does not cause me to break out. It makes my skin nice and soft. I am not a fan of the jar and it has a light scent, I prefer perfume free product in a pump bottle. I don't think this does much other than keep my skin soft. You still need an sunblock.

I have dry sensitive skin. This immediately soaked into my skin, but 10 minutes later it felt like I hadn't put anything on it at all, it as it was just as dry as when I finished washing and drying my face. By morning, my skin was so dry I looked 10 years older. If you're young or have oily skin you may love it as it does absorb easily and has an imperceptible clean scent, but this …Read more

This is like Clinique's DDMG minus anything good in it (a tiny amount of Olive extract and Hyaluronic acid barely count).
I purchased this along with the matching cleansing gel as the two were on offer if purchased together. I didn't like the cleanser and I definitely do not like this. My skin broke out terribly by the 3rd day of using it at which point I checked out the …

I was hoping I’d fall in love with this product- I first learned about it in one of those best in class magazine articles.

I’m not in love, but I’m in “like”.
Pros:
Feels nice, gel like (almost) feel, goes on the skin and doesn’t disappear in seconds but doesn’t just sit on the surface either, seems to sink in over 5-10 min - perfect
Doesn’t break me out
Is …

After getting my face ruined by the Cerave PM moisturizer I needed a new moisturizer and this one had good reviews and was at a reasonable price. Hasn't broken me out but it doesnt hydrate/moisturize at all.

I used this moisturizer twice daily for about 4 months. It’s not holy grail, but it’s one of the few I’ve found with an ingredient list that meets my tricky skincare needs. I have dry, sensitive, and acne-prone (chin) skin. It’s difficult to find products that moisturize enough without causing breakouts, especially ones without fatty acids.

The formula is lightweight and absorbs almost …
