I have used so many hair oils and admittedly only bought this bc I'm obsessed w olaplex 1 2 and 3. I also use 6 which I like.

This oil was very underwhelming and not worth the price. It doesn't hydrate or moisturize enough. I like the small bottle though as its cute and easy to carry around but I wont be repurchasing. There are just so many oil products that do a much better …

I actually love what this product does for me. Gave my hair shine and smelled good. Also cut down on my blow dry time and made my hair feel like a dream!

All that said, I probably will not repurchase as I have found other products that do the same for a much better price for example the Verb ghost blowdry lotion. Its less than half the price and does everything olaplex 6 does except for …

I do the standalone treatment and it's the only thing that makes my hair feel like virgin hair. That's not an exaggeration. Consider this treatment if you have highly damaged hair. If your hair isn't that damaged I would just do the number 3.

I had tried this years ago (around 4 years ago) and at the time I hadn't been that impressed, it seemed to make my hair feel like straw, perhaps because my hair was glossy and shiny and healthy, or the formula was more protein heavy, I am not sure.

Since then I have had some bleached highlights and some hairdressers haven't been brilliant. My current one is wonderful, but …

I can't believe how much this drys out my fine highlighted hair. I like the Olaplex No 3 but so disappointed with 4 and 5. I am not sure if it's the shampoo or conditioner but when I use these products my hair looks like straw. I will wash again and use Colleen Rothschild conditioner and then I can wear my hair down and not look like a witch:)

I didn’t rush out to buy this when it first came out because I didn’t “need” another hair oil. With all the glowing reviews I just had to try it though, thanks again Makeup Alley for talking me into it lol because I really like it.
First impression: It’s quite a bit different than most conventional hair oils.First of all, it’s really light and doesn’t feel greasy at all. When I first tried …

My stylist got this for me to blend in with Olaplex No.6. He added a drop of this oil to the No.6 creme. My hair was/ is so smooth and silky after using the duo. I was not sure why it was even necessary because the No.6 is supposed to be a stand alone treatment. However, after feeling my hair and using 6 and 7 together myself at home, they do remove the frizzies even more and adds a very nice …Read more

I don't have great hair - thin, and naturally prone to frizz and breakage. I usually have blonde foils as well.
Over the years I have tried a lot of things, and never accept a miracle. But this is hands down the best product I have ever bought for my hair. I use it once a week, and there is a notable difference in the ends. I had to go to the hairdresser this week because my roots were …

First off people are leaving this stuff on for too long, if your hair is getting brittle or stiff it means that you kept it on longer than 10-30 mins. It's not a deep conditioning treatment or a mask. Max I leave it on for 15mins. After one treatment I can already feel a difference.'

Only time will tell if it helps long term or I see crazy results. I expect you have to use it …
