I believe Field Fox is one of the best sellers form CND Vinylux range. It's a nude, cream polish. I know that nudes are exceptionally hard to get right. This particular one looks too grey/cool with my skin tone to be flattering. Having said that I don't completely dislike it either, as in certain lighting you can see lilac undertones which makes is look rather interesting.

I …

I use this on my toes because I don't really have a cuticle problem on my hands. I don't get pedicures as often as I used to because I'm constantly working and going to school. I gotta say my toes look amazing after using this. It has a grape scent to it. I've tried applying this to my hands and it's honestly annoying because it's greasy and I end up greasing up my …Read more

I have thin nails, prone to peeling, and traditional polishes never last on me. I had gels for years, even got all the stuff to do my own, but those wrecked my fragile nails even more. I tried other no-light polishes, with mixed results. I actually liked Wet n Wild’s way better than the Sally Hansen 2-step, which always chopped on me. The CND weekly polishes are a holy grail item for me and I …Read more

Way late to the party on this one, but what a soothing product. My cuticles get dry and rough once the cold weather settles in, and short of moving to a warmer, humid climate, this keeps my nails happy. Plus it smells like a marzipan bakery.

These polishes have turned into my favourite brand. The brushes have the perfect circular shape as well as width, the coverage is opaque in one swipe and the staying powder is great too! They’re more in the pricy side (I buy them on sale for $11.99 at SDM) but the price still beats my previous favourite nail brand Nails Inc with prices over $20.

I had been recommended this brand when I was searching for a gel like, long lasting polish that didn’t require a LED light. Though the price is high ($10.50 US), I gave it a try and am so glad I did! All polishes have a built in base coat, though to seal the color, you need to purchase and apply the top coat separately. These really do last a week without chipping and the top coat gives great …Read more

I’ve been a huge devotee of the Essie Gel Setter topcoat for years, and while I still love its performance, I do not love that it gets gloopy to the point of uselessness less than halfway through the bottle. I was gifted this topcoat (along with some Vinylux polishes) and I LOVE it. It applies so smoothly, with no dragging. It’s almost…sensual. The brush is the perfect width. It dries very …Read more

light-brown beige like latte with hint of yellow. This is the Vinylux not Shellac.

Pros:
- chip free for about four days with CND top coat
- easy to remove
- great neutral
- dries fast

Cons:
- on my NC25-30 with yellow skintone, looks unflattering yellow buff-beige
