Eyes - Ben Nye - MagiCake Aqua Paint - Licorice Black

I already bought this again yesterday... To have as backup. Mine is in the shade brown-black. I think I bought it last year, still nowhere close to hitting pan. Fantastic cake liner OVER eye primer and some sort of powder shadow. Cake liner without any eye primer is you asking for trouble.. Lovely product, and I doubt anything can beat it in the cake liner category. Suva Beauty Hydroliners are …Read more

I got ilthis in a make up lot that I bought on Ebay. So products are misses and some are not. The is an Excellent Loose Powder. I wish the packaging was made more functional but I can live with it. After I get Full Face Ready, the last thing I do is use my setting powder and the Setting Spray.
I have very oily skin and live in the tropics of South Florida where is is humid all day and my …

This powder matches me so well, it melts into my skin. I actually use this to correct foundation if the color is off as it as a nice golden undertone for me.

My only complaint would be that I prefer a pressed powder to travel with.

For reference, I am W9 in L’Oréal True Match foundation

I own 3 as well as one ‘cake liner’ its actually the magicake in black brown not marketed as cake eyeliner specifically-
I own Au Naturel, Mink Stole, Twilight Sable. Maquillageobscura blogspot has swatches of many Ben nye staples depending on your skin tone.

I got them last year, and used regularly, yet still haven’t made a dip.

These guys are amazing perfect handy …

Concealers - Ben Nye - Conceal All and Cover All Wheels

I used the Ben Nye Concealer wheel for the last two year, and it helps me a lot when I’m having a bad day… huge eyebags + massive red spots/breakouts…

I’m not using the concealer wheel daily, I’m just using it when I need it the most! It’s so handy that you have so many shades for color-correction and using it as a regular concealer! It’s a cream concealer which means that it’s a bit heavier, but it covers!

I use the light shade for the concealer wheel and love using the orange, green and skin tone shade for my application. It’s just the best concealer on the planet I used it in beauty school as well, and it is so easy to use!

When I cover up my blueness under my eyes, I use the orange concealer. I apply it under my eyes with a brush and then blend it …

Pressed Powders - Ben Nye - Color Cake Foundation

I have this in a very dark brown-black (magicake aqua) colour to use as cake eyeliner as Olivia from Maquillageobscura said this worked better for the purpose than their actual marketed cake eyeliner. It’s quite good although takes time to get used to- it does give you time to buff it a bit to soften.

Loose Powders - Ben Nye - Bella Luxury Powder: Buff (formerly known as Visage Poudre Luxury Powder)

Excellent loose powder, pretty much invisible on the skin. Price-quality ratio is very good. I prefer a slightly yellower shade, but Buff is very translucent so it should work for most people with fair skin. The only reason I would not buy this again is that the "light banana" shade works better for me.

I have this in the shade dusty mauve which shows up a beautiful subtle soft pink on my NC 48 skin It drys down to a soft matte finish and blends beautiful with my strippling brush. You could also use fingers or makeup sponge. It layers well with other products and it very pigmented. I will surely be trying more shades. My favorite part about this product is the texture. This has a creme to …Read more
