Top/Base Coats - Orly - Bonder Rubberized Basecoat

I've tried various basecoats and this is hands-down one of the best I have tried. This has a thicker texture and something about the "rubber" finish seems to bond the layers of polish and treatments much better than most bases. I will continue to purchase this, as this is one of the only basecoats that actually seems to work. This also prevents staining. The only (slight) drawback …Read more

This polish has a clear base and is absolutely packed with bright, multi-coloured confetti style round and hex shaped glitter, ranging from small to medium in size. The colours include saturated (almost neon but not quite) yellow, blue, and green, plus less saturated pink and a bit of orange, and a smattering of small white pieces. I'm actually finding it quite hard to describe this polish …Read more

I grabbed this for $2 in a bargain clearance, so at least I'm not a lot out of pocket on this one. This is a specialty top coat, which I could tell by looking at it, and it's about a thousand times prettier in the bottle than on the nail. In the bottle it's a golden shimmer with a strong pink edge. On the nail, it's barely perceptible at one coat, a little more visible at two …Read more

I've been using this for years, and I have yet to find anything better. It keeps my polish chip-free, and it lasts for many days. This has a thicker texture than other primers, but it's not noticeable under polish. This helps keep my nails from getting stained by dark polish as well. Fantastic product!

I've been using this for several months now and it's just not impressive. It has a very thin, watery texture and requires a few coats to smooth the nail OR be an effective base coat. I use two coats.

I don't think it has improved the wear of my pedicures. So I wouldn't buy it again.

Really pretty light muted dusty pink creme polish. Almost an off-white. Loving the wide brush too. Makes for easy application. I needed 3 coats but could have gotten away with 2. It gets opaque. I think this is from their Fall 2018 collection, but I think it will work whenever. Neutrals like these have my heart :)

I am one of those people who likes to paint my nails when they get longer and harder in the summer. Winter does something to my nails...dry air, cold, lack of sunshine...not exactly sure. Anyway, polish on my nails in the summer can feel stifling, weird sounding unless you are like me with sensitive nail beds that think they need to breath. This breathable stuff is comfortable to wear and …Read more

I really notice a difference when I remember to use it regularly. My cuticles remain soft, the nails stay strong and the polish seems to be less prone to peeling. Lasts ages as only little is needed, andorbs quickly and doesn't feel thick. Convenient packaging, pleasant bitter almond scent and fair price. Recommended.

Great base coat! This rubberized base coat dries to a slightly tacky but matte finish and nail polish just sticks to it. Will definitely lengthen the wear time of any polish! My mom gave me her bottle which was a bit old and kind of thick. I bought a new bottle because I am always up to try something I haven't used before, and I was really happy with the results. When I run out (or the brush …Read more

Bought Mauvelous and I am surprised at how long it took to start showing wear. For me, a nail polish taking a week to chip is really good, and this took about a week to start looking not so hot. The brush was easy to use and applied very evenly. It wasn't goopy or too thin, and it came out really pigmented. I think I did two coats and got good opaque coverage. It did dull with wear, but I …Read more
