I'm on the fence with that product. I have a short bob and i like the "tousled, beach look" you can create with a seas salt and a few loose curls however this spray is not convincing me 100%. First of all it make my hair drier. My hair is not damaged at all, virgin and short, so i don't like that. BUT if you're thinking "beach" you should be ok with the texture …Read more

Tried many high end shampoo and condiments that have not been worth the money! I have had the detox and conditioner for nearly 6 months. It’s lasted well, good price, and it makes my hair look luscious and feel amazing. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

It is time for me to review the John Frieda Go Blonder Collection.  I've used this in different products (an older mask, since discontinued) over the last few years.  I preferred to use the lightening mask mostly near my roots to give me some extra time in between visits to the hairstylist.  John Frieda has since discontinued the mask and instead introduced a Lemon Miracle Mask.  Unfortunately, the new version doesn't do anything to actually help lighten hair, or help revive blonde highlights. The Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner also have the same problem, they don't do anything to help lighten hair or highlights.

The only item in this collection that actually does anything to lighten hair is the Go Blonder Spray.  You don't really need to use any of …

Hair Styling Tools - John Frieda - John Frieda Hot Air Brush

I have dry, very thin (thyroid/weight loss/stress) fine hair. I used this for a few years and it was...fine. It gave me a teeny bit of body and cleaned up my ends with a little curve. But I recently bought the more expensive revlon version of this and the revlon one makes my hair much shinier and smoother. The revlon one also has a high setting that gets much hotter than this one, FYI.

Pros :
1- very light and easy to grap and use
2- it’s hot and will get the job done very quickly. But not extremely hot that it will burn my hair.

3- It just slides easily through my hair without tugging and never gets stuck in my hair if you know what I mean.
4- you can use it to straighten your hair or get lovely wavy hair
5- it adds bounce and …

This product can lighter your hair for sure, but it can cost you your hairs! I was using this spray not really often and followed all the rules when using it. Finally I noticed my hair become demaged. They become really dry and started to break. Later I saw I have lot of short hair near my roots. Luckily I sprayed only highlights but not all my hair! And I'm afraid even to think what would …Read more

So I am a frequent DIYer when it comes to hair, but I don’t shy away from real salon products and I am not afraid of “real bleach” etc. I am definitely of the opinion that it is always a chemical process to get “blonder.” Picking drugstore stuff with the assumption that it’s more gentle or somehow makes you less “fake” is a fallacy. HOWEVER, used correctly (in moderation, with lots of …Read more
