Cleansers - La Roche-Posay - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser

Nothing wrong with this dermatologist-approved, gentle cleanser. Got a free sample tube at my derm's office. No scent - perhaps a slight bit medicinal/chemical - and low foaming. Removes most makeup and is an effective daily cleanser (I have dry skin) that does not seem too drying.

I was devastated after Kate Somerville's Daily Deflector Moisturizer got discontinued because it meant I had to go on the hunt, once again, for one that wouldn't leave a white residue on my brown skin. I found this one after much research and have bought it twice since then. It's a little watery before you rub it on, but it's seeps in perfectly and leaves you just the perfect …Read more

My drugstore ran out of stock of La Roche Posay's Toleriane Caring Wash, so I bought this Dermo-Cleanser instead. My face likes this cleanser better! I really prefer these non-foaming type cleansers because they don't leave my skin "squeaky" clean and tight. I use two pumps in my palm and massage the cleanser into my face, loosening up my day's SPF 60 sunscreen and powder …Read more

This is just BAD. Wouldn't recommend it. Doesnt remove makeup, the only good side of it is that its soap free, no fragrance and has a decent package. Doesnt do much for my skin and leaves it dry.
Texture when washing is weird, doesn't lather (again...no soap), but is kind of slimey and slippery.
There are much better options out there.

Great cleanser! Cleans so nicely and the foaming it gives is comforting to the skin (weird right?), like a soft pillow. It feels luxurious!
Cleans off all makeup, dirt etc. I always come back to this after trying other cleansers. You get a huge amount so the higher price tag isn’t so bad because it lasts forever. Also, cvs always has good coupons to make this even more affordable.

I had used one bottle for almost a year (switching between this and regular face cleanser Cetaphil). I ran out a few months ago and didn't buy it again but I think even my weekly use of the salicylic acid in it worked nicely for my skin. I've been noticing breakouts on my cheeks and nothing much else has changed in my routine in the last 6 months. So I bought a new tube this week. Will …Read more

This is a cleanser I would recommend to pretty much anyone.
True,it won’t take off heavy makeup, but most people use some kind of cleanser or wipe first anyway,as
do I
Gentle and non drying....excellent price, and you can apply the Ulta $3.50 coupon ( it’s usually
$14.99,so you have to spend another 1cent),or the 20%,when offered.
Large bottle,long lasting.
This has …

This is one of the cleansers I use regularly, at night as part of a double cleanse, and in the morning. It is very gentle, yet for double cleansing, unless the balm or oil I’m using is really thick or heavy, it works great. It reminds me a lot of the Paula’s Choice Resist Hydrating Cleanser - only with LRP, you get practically double the amount for much less money....the PC Cleanser is around …Read more

This really lives up to it’s claims. I use Tretinoin cream, and while I rarely have any irritation from it, when I do, this balm works perfectly to moisturize and diminish dry, peeling, flakey areas. I also had a red, excema-like patch on my middle finger, from my AHA serum getting under one of my rings. I had been putting Cerave ointment on it, but it wasn’t improving - I tried this and it …Read more

I have extremely oily, breakout prone skin. I bought this to use after peels. My skin likes it so much, I ended up using it every night. I feel like it moisturizes so well that it reduces my over production of oil. I also use it on my toddler when she gets dry patches or rashes on her face and it seems to clear them up over a couple of days.
