This was one of those 'I must have it' things. Well, I'm glad I caved in to my whim. I love this palette. I don't think I will be using much of the brighter, 'statement' colors, but I do wear the rest a good deal. Unlike the previous poster, I think these are well pigmented and blend beautifully. I use Morphe brushes, which I also love. I have other two palettes (the taupe and the something something mocha) and quite frankly they are all I use. I even like the shimmery colors because on me they apply subtly pearly instead of disco glitter, as I feared they would.Just comes to prove - once again - that what works beautifully for some is a disaster for others.

I was very disappointed with this. It had a highly chemical smell that was unpleasant & was very thick and sticky - It was so hard to make it foam up, so it wasn't very nice to use on my face. I ended up throwing this away after less than a weeks use. I have had very little success with La Roche Posay products despite trying new products from them over and over due to multiple good reviews (the Effaclar Duo & A.I are the only products I've been impressed with) so have learnt my lesson & won't be buying any new ones

The formulation is great - quite slippy/oily (a good thing for my super dry under-eye area) yet still gives reasonable coverage. I use the 'Fair' shade which brightens my dull skin nicely; I could probably get away with 'Light' also...I'm probably N10 going by my neck though tend to make my face (and neck) up to NC15. However...I can't give this more than 3 as I find the applicator/packaging so hopeless. I have a wide/high nose bridge and I just can't get the end of the applicator anywhere near the corners of my dark circles without it ending up on my nose bridge too, which just seems to emphasize the shadows and make everything look worse. I get around it by using a concealer brush to get this into the inner corners of my undereye area, but I wouldn't purchase again - too much hassle.

I like very much this setting spray. It is more hydrating than the Urban Decay All Nighter. Also it is slightly cheaper and it has better scent and better lasting power.I do not know why no one cares about this product. It is actually good.

Not very impressed. By the description I was expecting a thick, emollient texture that was 'balmy'. However, this is fairly thin, white and almost chalky - It doesn't feel soothing at all. Maybe I'm missing a trick or somehow using it in the wrong way, as everyone else seems to love this. Unfortunately its not for me. Plus points are the price & packaging

I received a nice sized sample of this in my Ipsy bag. Cute little tube packaging. I have the “coconut” scent although it doesn’t smell like coconut to me. Not real coconut, nor the candy or lotion fragrance everyone knows. I think it smells like sweet buttered popcorn, but I like the smell so it doesn’t bother me. It’s moisturizing enough, it feels like a thinner version of my Lanolin, and I’m sure it costs way more. I can say that I did not look up the price for this, but if it costs more than $5, I would say that it is overpriced. Because I like the scent and I do find it moisturizing, it it were $5 or under, I’d purchase. If not, I wouldn’t. Oh, there’s no real flavor in case anyone was curious.

I bought this mask twice. I had great results but they lasted a few days. It is good as a facial spa.

OMG how is it that I had not tried this foundation. It is amazing...comparable to ELDW but at a drugstore price. It has great coverage and a beautiful finish. My oils come through after 8 hours but it still looks good. I'm shook lol. I swear I heard someone say it was being discontinued??? I've bought backups just in case.

This was a bit of a wild shot for me, as I only researched a little on ALA. For the price I think it was worth trying, however I'm not sure I will be repurchasing, since the smell is HORRIBLE. It smells like a mixture of burnt plastic and old car tyres melting away, a very chemical and unhealthy smell. For a long time I've been wondering where that disgusting smell comes from in my home. Turns out, it's my face!I can see a slight change in my appearance the next morning; a more evenly toned complexion, slightly faded lines and more glowy skin. I would recommend you to try it if you're curious about ALA, and not too sensitive about scents!

The latest version that is out doesn't contain the word "keratin on the front of the jar's packaging, like the previous version did. Plus, they took out the word "Grow" from off the front as well. I was able to find the jars that do contain the previous formula within my local CVS (which I was totally shocked) and I do also own this current version as well. I have only tried the previous formula, and it has a very loose texture to it, it doesn't have that vanilla+ play dough scent to it, that I remember it having when this product initially launched. It smells like straight up vanilla. The scent is a bit stronger than what I initially remember, however, because I only use it once a week, under neath Shea Moisture's JBCO Smoothie, I don't have any issues with the scent lingering in my hair in a big way until the next time I wash it. The scent gets milder as the days go by for sure, until it's barely noticeable. With the previous version that I currently use, it is best to use this product in small amounts, because you don't need to be heavy handed with this product at all or else it may leave your hair with a somewhat greasy feel to it. However, I absolutely love just how much slip it has to it, just how moisturizing it truly is, and how it makes detangling an absolute dream! Now, I did notice that with the current formulation, that I can definitely see the formulation of this product does appear thicker now. I could see it just from looking in the jar after I got it. I totally attribute this to the ingredient formulation. If you can still find the previous version, then definitely stock up. If not, well this new version is still worth trying and if you don't end up liking it, well, then you can always seek to get your money back. This is ne of Shea Moisture's top selling products, and I am not sure why they chose to re-formulate this product. But after trying ashes Moisture's products, then stopping for a while, I am back with using products that this brand offers again, because I do suffer with scalp eczema that at times has gotten very severe, which is why, I felt it best to incorporate products into my regimen that are natural and that contain ingredients that are beneficial towards both my hair and scalp.

I have come to realize that Kilian has a 'thing' of the peach note . His peach notes are not dry and dusty but rich ,hyper bright ,syrupy ( which I love ) and verging onto candy . Forbidden Games reminds me of a much lighter Liasons Dangereuse (short form DL ) minus the coconut note ,etc - simply because of that particular Kilian Peach Note. Forbidden Games is a streamlined peach scent which becomes sort of powdery vanilla ,lighter as it dries down . The opening is very pretty though and I love it.The overall scent is sheer in feel , not too much heft. I do prefer DL as the scent itself is complex, deeper and the peach note stays till the end. I hope Kilian does a Forbidden Games Extreme .

I have to repost my review - folks HG foundation for the oily skinned. Hands down, this stuff WORKS on my skin. Nothing else does (even super matte primers do not work - like Deciem). I have bipolar skin - my face gets shiny because of topical BP lotion that dries out my skin - so it's actually dry but tends to get oily/super shiny.THIS is the only foundation that really works for me. I have tried Revlon, Tarte, Rimmel, WnW, Maybelline etc... but this stuff really keeps me more matte than any I have tried. I don't even wear a primer with it. It's that good. I do not have acne, but scars and lots of dark melasma that I have to balance so that my face doesn't look so tan. My face is about 2 shades darker than my neck. This foundation is creamy, but goes on light (I use a damp beauty blender) and dries to a powdery finish. When I get done blending, I normally do not have to dust powder until about an hour after my foundation really sinks in. It's that good. It does not cling to dry patches, I apply my regular Olay moisturizer beforehand, just a normal amount (so you don't need to slather it on for prep). It's not heavy, it's dry to the touch (not tacky) and has no smell, and I haven't found it to transfer when I touch my face. It also washes off EASILY with a makeup wipe and your normal face wash. I love this aspect. I cannot use oils etc.. to remove my makeup. I have sensitive skin and oils/creams break me out. This stuff DOES NOT break me out and removes easily. Such a huge pro. It also lasts all day - and does not settle dry into my pores (create white dots) - it's friggen amazing.I have found that it does oxidize a bit - not orange or too strong - but enough that you may end up going to a lighter shade than you'd think. I'm NC15-NC20 and I wear Classic Ivory and mix a dab of Ivory just to help brighten my melasma. In the summer, I wear the shade Nude Beige and mix a bit of Classic Ivory to balance. This is hands-down great great stuff. And it's $9. Have three bottles and will repurchase.

I have one other color in this nail polish line (Mink) and was amazed by the formula (and $5 is cheaper than most nail polishes these days) - I decided to browse the other shades and stumbled on Emerald Blaze. OMG - it was the exact color I had been trying to find! Swatches online don't do this green justice - it's a beautiful green duochrome. I don't normally like to wear darker colors on my nails - but I love this shade. The formula is great - a little thick if you compare it to Essie - but the brush applies it beautifully in one coat if you take your time and apply it carefully. This is a great color and I really like these Cover Girl nail polish formulas! Not sure on wear length/chipping issues - but I put my normal WnW base coat as my top coat (works amazing) and I'm not really worried.

I don't dislike this product that much there's just a few things that weird me out about it. Firstly which nobody on here as mentioned it comes out and it looks like there's little hairs in it I think that's the willow bark? Secondly if you have very recently washed your face this shit Burns. It burns for almost to straight minute. I haven't noticed a difference in my oil or my acne I think it may work better for some rather than others. I don't know I would say it's just okay if you're looking for moisture this isn't the one for you

This dries in 10mins so made my face drier. The concentration of oatmeal is low, there was something about this that felt un-natural. If you mist it every 5 min, you will get a better result but too high maintenance for me. For the price, I expect it to work. I like beta glucan in oatmeal but the best if when I mix: oatmeal flour, milk/yoghurt, glycerin and face oil, the result is unlike no other. Only downside is its messy. I would recommend you try a sample prior to purchase.
