Treatments (Eye) -CLINIQUE -All About Eyes

Firstly people need to know that there are two version of this product. The gel cream aaand the ”RICH” formula which is basically a moisturizer type of cream. The gel one tends to sink in the under eye area and I wouldn’t recomand it if you have dry skin. I have combination and I chose the gel version, manly because before this eye cream I used another one which was a rich formula and it was too heavy for me, it even gave me white dots under my eye. If you are 15-20 years old and have a normal skin or not dry I say you try a sample of the gel cream. The fact that there are two versions of this eye cream, made people chose the wrong one for them and that’s why it didn’t work for them, I think. And also they dont mention which cream they used in their reviews which can be confusing.

I have been using this cream for almost a week now, mostly twice a day and didnmt notice big changes when it comes to reducing my dark circles or fine lines. It does sink in pretty well but having a sensitive skin I did notice some small side effects which is: a little redness on the lower eyelash line and above the upper eyelash line on the lid. I do feel like my eyes are more brighten in the morning when I first use it, also my eyes are bigger and much open. This might be because of the coffeine that is within the product. However I don’t know if this eye cream will give me long term effects or if it is just something when I’m using it. I will use this few weeks more maybe months just to see if it will make a difference with time. I will come back with a full review on it. Because of the price I would say you should try a sample first. I even read that people say the packing is not right or hygienic. I always use anti bacterial hand gel before I wash my hands aaaand then apply the cream. I see no problem with the jar, I think it’s cute and you always have to be careful with hygiene when you apply creams or make up on your face despite how the packing looks like.

Mascara -CLINIQUE -Naturally Glossy Mascara

This is honestly an amazing mascara and I’ve tried them all from Chanel, Dior, benefit to Rimmel etc. Admittedly I have decent lashes to start with but this is totally non clumpy, lasts all day and no fake spidery lashes I personally hate - just naturally defined, fanned out and long
Would def purchase again - love it!

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Redness Solutions Daily Relief Moisture Cream

I am using this in conjunction with the Redness Solutions cleanser. It is a lovely pale green, no real smell. Does not glide on as well as other products, like Moisture Surge, and it takes more product to cover the same area. But it works! In only 2 days there is a visible difference in the redness of my cheeks. My sensitive skin is greatly soothed by this regimen.

I truly did not know how irritating to my skin the regular Clinique 3 step system was until I used this. Perhaps once my skin is calmed down I can try their #1 instead of #2 3-step.

Question to experts: can I layer another product, like Moisture Surge, over this?

Cleansers -CLINIQUE -Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser

Felt like I was doing an oil wash, it glided on so well, even though it is oil-free. I have always known I have sensitive skin, but until I used this I never realized how much simply washing my face with even a mild cleanser irritated it. It said I should see results in a week of using the Redness cleanser and daily cream. I am seeing results in two days! The redness on my cheeks is greatly faded.

No real smell, silky smooth going on, and rinsed off easily. This is my regular cleanser now. Leaves my skin soft and smooth, and LESS RED.

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Dramatically Different Moisturizing "Cream"

This review is for my mother Bc she has very dry skin & she normally uses the DdL! But since she has extremely d dry skin & this was anew product so I decided to buy it for her during Clinique bonus gift time!
& I think she likes it very much Bc it's a rich thick cream that works well to quench her always dehydrated skin! The cream has a lot of emoilents in it but I don't know if I should buy it again for her Bc it's package in a jar which is unsanitary!

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly

Tried a sample of this and was quite surprised! After a not-so-good experience with both DDML and DDMG I was reluctant to give the latest 'Dramatic Moisturizer' variation a spin. However it sinks in fast and leaves zero trace of stickiness behind on my skin. If anything it actually feels refreshing and instantly hydrating. For my specific skin type (oily to combination/normal) it is just the right amount of moisture and I am only using a small amount each time I apply. My t-zone does start to get oily by late afternoon time but this happens with pretty much anything I use and nothing a few sheets of blotting paper can't sort out. Ingredients are for the most part pretty good, the most remarkable being 'Sunflower Seed Cake - one of La Mer's 'Miracle Broth' ingredients.

SPF and make up both glide on fine over this, no piling or anything, but I think the best thing about this for me, living in a fairly polluted city, is the anti-pollution complex. It's reassuring to know that with the combination of SPF and this I am doing some small part in preventing premature skin ageing simply by applying this.

Might just have to stop by at Sephora this weekend and treat myself to the 1.7 oz tube (not as good value as 4.2 oz size but much easier to cut in half and scoop out any product at bottom - near impossible to do with tough plastic packaging of large size where loads of product sits at the bottom sides that pump cannot reach)

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly

This is a light moisturizer suitable for those with oily skin. The slight tackiness after application dissipates after a while depending on the environment you're in.

The jelly feels good on it skin and didn't produce a lot of shine.

There's not a lot of anti-aging ingredients here and the clear bottle means you have to store it out of sunlight or strong light to keep the actives from degrading.

Not the cheapest but it's one of the better Clinique moisturizer for oily skin.

Cleansers -CLINIQUE -Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

I love this stuff! While I usually stick to micellar water for makeup removal, sometimes that isn't quite up to snuff against pesky waterproof mascara or days when I've really indulged in a ~full face. This balm has a pleasant texture, and you don't need very much at all to really get every single fleck of makeup off. No smells, no irritation. I appreciate the fact that I can open my eyes mid-smear to check and see if everything seems like it is sliding off. I am never a big fan of beauty products in pots, it just doesn't feel super clean to me (and, on a personal note, I keep my nail long, so it is a pain to try and avoid ending up with balm crescents under my nails and wasted product), but I understand that this texture wouldn't really suit a pump. All in all, I definitely would recommend this product, and will be buying it again.

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

foto

I bought this after using the regular moisture surge for many years. I have pretty dry skin and winter is coming up so I thought I'd give it a try. Definitely regret it. Don't get me wrong, it's a good lotion, but I just love the regular SOOO much more. I find this lotion sits on top of my skin instead of soaking into it. It almost feels somewhat sticky as well. I don't want to be able to feel lotion on my face, I just want my face to feel moisturized.
The one upside of this vs the other is that I don't have to put more on throughout the day. It keeps my face moisturized all day, whereas with the regular moisture surge I sometimes (albeit rarely) have to put a little more on later in the day.

Treatments (Eye) -CLINIQUE -Superdefense Age Defense Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 20

I gave this 4 stars because it does work as a sunscreen for the eye area. But it is very very white and takes a bit to sink in. And is not as moisturising as other eye creams, so seems a bit of a one-trick-pony. The trick it does is very good, but I don't really need a single purpose eye sunscreen. Mostly only use it for travel to very sunny/glaring places - desert or snow, rather than using it every day. It's also quite expensive.

Moisturizers -CLINIQUE -Moisture Surge Face Spray

I would do 3-4 squirts for full coverage, never irritated my skin or eyes. Could tell right away that my skin felt hydrated and even helped with dry spots. I've seen places recommend it as a toner, however I never noticed any toner benefits from it. I wouldn't buy it again as I do not think it is necessary for my skin, though would recommend it if you are looking for extra help in hydrating your skin.

I have been using this everyday for a month now for my morning routine (i have dry/combo skin that tends to flake at the side of my lips)

- after a shower i will use cosrx hyaluronic pads to wipe my face

- top off with clinique dramatically hydrating jelly

- start putting on my base makeup (either straight to foundation or add on a YSL primer if i am in the mood)

It works on most days but on drier days i do see some peeling at the side of my lips

Really enjoy using it and wouldn't mind repurchasing

Blush -CLINIQUE -Blushing Blush Powder Blush - Cupid

Would agree with the positive comments about this blush. It’s not completely matte which is a plus in my book. No glitter. Nicely pigmented but not so pigmented that you can’t build it up a little. Color not too cool-toned which sometimes happens with my skin tone. Sturdy packaging. Included brush surprisingly works in a pinch.

Clinique is a good dependable brand for me. Makeup products usually a cut above drugstore. I use their face items the most. I have very sensitive skin and never had a problem.

Lipstick -CLINIQUE -Clinique Pop Lip Shadow

on 9/4/2018 11:02:00 PM

Back in the 90's, I had a few powder lip colors in compacts, including one from Lancome that was as creamy and buttery as today's eyeshadows. You can see me wearing it in one of my profile pixx. Clinique brings back the powder lip, this time in a twisty pen with a foam applicator on one end and the product in the other. I selected Blossom Pop, a medium matte rose.

If you like the matte lip look, this is a good one to have. It doesn't dry out the lips and looks natural and elegant on. The foam applicator is conical in shape, so you can use the point of the cone to trace the lip line accurately. For those of you who are habitual lip lickers, though, it won't stay on long. You'll have to reapply over and over. Bonus advantage: a product like this won't spill or melt.

My main objection to any product of this type, whether it's eyeshadow, lip color, or brow makeup, is how much product you can actually use. I'm skeptical about how little there is to begin with, plus I've never understood how the foam part is supposed to dip all the way down into the product if you can screw in the applicator only so far. So I figure there's always going to be some waste.

Treatments (Face) -CLINIQUE -Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

foto

Although this didn't do a thing for my acne scars or a small patch of melasma, it worked wonders for my mother who insisted I mention her results if ever I do a write up for this. Luckily I see her on a daily basis so even to me the change was gradual but noticeable. After 6 months of using this the pigmentation on her nose has faded significantly to the point where she does not have to use concealer to cover it up any longer. Hers was very superficial pigmentation, I have no first hand experience of how this would work on dermal pigmentation or sun damage.

On my skin when used in conjunction with the other products in the range I found my skin tone brighter and slightly more even looking, but not any more significantly than when using other brightening products from other brands. Used alone the effect was not that apparent but when the other products were added the effect was more noticeable. I will write up about the other products seperately as I gave them all a chance to be used alone before combining, giving me a better idea of what was working best from them. The 'Even Better' range has expanded rapidly over the years and it can often be confusing to sift through which product is having what effect or worth investing in.
